Stan Rogers died in 1983 - a time when climatologists were concerned about a possible ice age! A time when Russia was building nuclear powered ice breakers to keep the NE Passage open. I remember a radio programme in which the reported travelled with such a ship across about 12 time zones.

Sorry. I can buy your justification. I was just interpreting in the mode of progressives and was sure you would understand that. You may be missing out on a lot of jokes here and by Trump ( yes, I said that). But then I do as well when it comes to some of the "elites."

Hey, at least we did a good job of avoiding that possible ice age, didn't we? I'm not sure how many trillions were invested for the purpose, but doesn't that mean we should be getting rebates or at least some tax breaks? All they have to do is quit spending the money being used to avert an ice age and the global warming solves itself! I'm glad we had this talk.

Blatantly so, and has been for a very long time. I recall an OEC telling me many years ago that he canceled his subscription for that very reason.

 

Pretty funny. Unfortunately, Soros probably cannot understand a great many things, but he does understand money and how to manipulate and control people with it.

 

Possible responses;

“Well, except for that ‘no god’ thing they tell the truth”.

“Jesus and National Geographic have the same goals for humanity”.

“I trust them more than people who trust God”.

 

Valid science reports scientific observations. Interpretation of those observations may be questioned, but not science itself.

Global warming "science was designed to get a predetermined outcome.

 

Valid science requires the experiment be repeated by independent researchers with very similar results. What is usually reported to the masses is new research conclusions blown all out of proportion, and without the caveats and cautions valid science would dictate. To think that research is completely unbiased, and especially that conclusions drawn are completely unbiased, is extremely naive.

 

It is the nature of the study of nature to question the status quo, and especially to test the assumptions it is based on. Worldview plays a big part in all of this.
