    The focus is on understanding Christ challenges us to set aside racism and seek unity in the Spirit for the cause of Christ.

    If your focus is on "slave qoutas", perhaps your focus is off Christ and Him crucified.

    Doctrinal unity, which you erroneously equate with racial unity.

    Some assumptions are being made. How many slaves do you have in your church? (Who owns them?) You may be lacking in your quota of Jews (or Gentiles), as well. How many Jews do you have in your church? (Gentiles?) The point would be, are you fully putting into practice your quoted Scripture, or could you be trying to apply it artificially?

    An opinion I share. I have learned the hard way that politics can be deceptively involved--some are far more interested in political agendas than in the kingdom of God. The diversity they are actually pushing is politically based, not Christian, and politically based diversity aligns itself directly with the LGBTQ agenda (and abortion and feminism). This is true of the extremely racist organization NAACP, though not limited to them, and many look to them (and others) for leadership rather than to Christ and his word.

    Perhaps the reason we don’t see this the same is that some promote culture as being pure, whereas it is anything but. This is why I brought up the Cretan problem. It is directly applicable. One culture may be superior to another, especially if it has been more positively affected by biblical and Christian influence. The church is to promote kingdom of God values, which will run counter to many cultural values and traditions. While I do see a worldly tendency toward condemning certain historical practices and events, the tendency is far too limited, too extreme, and too outward. This does not promote biblical unity or biblical diversity--it does the opposite.

    I'm not sure what you think I said.

    I said we set aside racial differences and are unified by Holy Spirit in the cause of Christ.

    I don't think you are understanding the point of the passage. Paul certainly lived at a time when slavery was widespread. How could he say there no slave or free? No Jew or gentile? No Male or female?

    You might be taking the text too literally in applying it today.

    The artical reported the convention specifically rejected the teaching of LGBTQ agenda.

    There is only one race - the Human Race.

    Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

    We do see things differently. MO Baptist are promoting Kingdom values. Cultural values separate us on outward appearances, such as race or gender or national origins. Kingdom values promote unity in Christian love and doctrine.

    The MO Baptist have done a good thing.

    Exactly. But still, people continue to see race as more defining than Christian faith.

    Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

    Yes, kingdom values do promote unity in Christ, but you ignored why we see things differently. The things I mentioned are not simply outward appearance, but go to the heart of the man, to the psyche. If you don't understand this, then it will not even be possible for you to understand what I am saying further, much less be able to address any problems there.

    Why is it white people always feel the need to "help" us people of color? The worst sacks of human trash and the most racist people I have ever met beat the drum of diversity. They are the fastest to call someone a racist as well. Diversity is a race to the bottom. Whites that seem to really care about it are just using it as a way to gain power over others. How crazy is it that you stupid white people let others bully you into giving them often time unqualified, to top teir positions. All that does is hurt us that make it with out help based off of skill. Lets all go over to Japan and demand diversity! Lets go over to Iran and demand them allow whites to take jobs. Black America has zero respect for whites that do this and it will never be engough.

    I worry what will necome to this country when whites are not in control and all this communist virtues signalling brings to 3rd world standards.

    Right, I don't understand your comments on the "Cretan problem" or "cultures being pure" as being related to what MO Baptists stated.

    MO Baptists have done a good thing. I'm not how your views are connected to the OP.
