Christmas Concerts, Pageants, etc.

    No. We sing some of the songs of the birth of Christ, aka "Traditional" Christmas hymns, but we do not have a Christmas program.

    As far as church Christmas programs are concerned, simpler is better and more meaningful.

    If you like spectacle, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular has 'em all beat.

    Went to Trans Siberian Orchestra last week.

    I'm not sure that counts as a simple program.

    Agreed. But it's in NYC at a cost of $200/ticket.

    This one is by the local First Baptist church and costs range from $10-$60 per ticket (yes, they do charge). But they also tell the Gospel story (not just Jesus' birth) and have an invitation.

    The invitation is just so they can think they're doing God a service in their spectacle, lol.

    All for shows, mind you, but not at church.
