In 2016 I was deceived by sinners prayer, and to be honest I didn't really believe in it. Then I got myself deceived again in a blasphemous idolatrous cult! Called WMSCOG, they told me they believed in 2 God's and it's ridiculous I worshiped one of them out of ignorance, I am new to scripture so please understand.

I knew the Bible is real, that hell is real, I was desperately seeking eternal life, I saw this video of the book of life, and midway I truly believed Jesus Christ is Lord.

I physically felt the whole atmosphere of my room change, something very Holy and Pure was drawing to me, and it touched me, and I believed and accepted right away I believed it was and is the Holy Spirit. It literally went inside my inner body and I felt it radiate throughout me head to toe for 5 minutes and start to fade slowly. I am completely freed from all sin, I repented of all of them and have peace. I believe God just gave me eternal life, and I am truly saved now.

I believe God is telling me to leave the WMSCOG cult, and go to the Baptist Church down my street and don't look back!. I have lost my desire to sin, and have a fire for God, what do I do next? Have I been born again was this the Holy Spirit of God?? Did my eyes just open?

What do I do now? Am I saved forever, do I need to do something now to stay saved or something, can I lose it? I don't know the answers there are so many churches I am so confused. Did I really meet God, I strongly believe I did but I don't want to be delusional.

    Please pray for me.

No one on earth can declare you to be saved or unsaved. We can only observe whether your life is reflecting the transformed life of a child of God.

Whether your experience was genuinely an experience with God, again, I can't say. God moves in various ways with different people. I'm very cautious about telling folks their fellowship with God must follow a certain formula.

Seek God in prayer, bible study, and fellowship with like minded believers. Never grow weary of doing good in the eyes of God.

    Peace to you

I am curious once we have it do we lose it somehow and how? Do i need to do something to maintain it now? I don't think I have too, I am just prompted to read the epistles now and find a Baptist or reformed Church soon.

Who is it that overcomes and has the promise of not in any way to have one name blotted out of His book?
". . . For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" -- 1 John 5:4-5.

God is the only one who gives one the new birth to be born of God.
". . . If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." -- 1 John 5:9-13.

All we can do is trust God. God does the saving and does the keeping. God cannot lie. Titus 1:2.
And His forgiveness is full and complete: ". . .And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. . . ." Hebrews 10:17 (Jeremiah 31:31-34)

    ". . . Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: . . ." -- 1 John 5:1.

Talk with a Pastor at the Church you’d like to attend. Congratulations! It’s a wonderful decision!

Guys I believe God just gave me assurance, I can do nothing to merit my salvation and that its a 100% Jesus its all about Jesus he is my personal Lord and Savior. My depression and OCD is gone, I will continue to grow in the faith, my fire for him keeps growing.

It does sound like you have received the gift of salvation. Remember though, Satan can and will try to make you question whether it is real or not, he will be on you harder than ever. There will be ups and downs, you will not always be on fire. You may become lukewarm and when you find yourself in that situation pray, find your fire again. There are going to be struggles but with the Lord on your side you can make it through them. Don't let Satan or anyone else blow out that light! LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!!!
