Another dodge coming. That's the problem with LDS. They can't be honest about what they really believe.

But your idea of the atonement is not following the Bibles view of the atonement. You all define it differently. Hence you are not christians.

    OK.
Is your question, "How to receive the Holy Ghost"? Whose view do you want? Find lots of opinions in my "Spirit and Water Baptism: 38 Issues that Divide Us" on Amazon. IMO, One who yields himself receives the baptism of power to serve God as God wills. But all Christians have the Spirit!

I understand that you are a "novice priest, " but in all sincerity, you do not understand your own religion! How is Mormon theism like Greek mythology? Let me count the ways: (2) In both God is not infinite! I have 8 more from a little book I wrote soon to be in print.

F.Y.I.; Your religion says God the Father has a mommy and a daddy and has a wife or wives too, Oh My! :-(.

Good luck , novice priest, I suggest learn your own religion before you embrace it. IMO, it is dreadful!

Oh, and Christ is to be "Jehovah" not the Father. Two names , so there must be two GODS, what's wrong with that exegesis? Duh......l

    vaya con dios,

In my opinion and my father is a Mormon and I attended LDS seminary, had lessons with missionaries etc, mormons will not be saved. They believe in a false Jesus (they believe he is Satan's brother), they believe in a false God (they believe he is an exalted man and has a body of flesh and bones), they don't believe that Jesus is God and they don't believe in the Trinity. To top it off they believe in salvation through works, not grace alone. They are certainly not christians and are certainly not saved.

If I was you Stephen I would sneak out of here before you have no skin left and converse with your own kind... You came here of your own volition, what were you expecting for those of us who understand your belief better than you do, you who are about to become a priest to roll out the red carpet?... Then you say that the KJV and The Book Of Mormon are both the word of God... There is no one on here that believes that!... There are many translation of the Word Of God but the The Book Of Mormon isn't among them... You can hang around here if you want to and get more of the same but that is entirely up to you... Brother Glen:)

The Father is Spirit, so has no physical form, neither does the Holy Spirit, just Jesus does, and do you see God as being eternally God, or did He evolve to that status over time?

I will pray for you. You are in an evil cult.

    • Brigham Young (Mormonism's 2nd president-prophet): “The Father came down and begat him, the same as we do now…” [The Complete Discourses of Brigham Young, vol. 1, p. 321; February 16, 1849, Salt Lake City] (As citedhere by McKeever and Shafovaloff)

. Brigham Young Journal of Discourses, Vol.13, p.95, Brigham Young, January 2, 1870:
"I have never yet preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they may not call Scripture. Let me have the privilege of correcting a sermon, and it is as good Scripture as they deserve."

Go look at the blasphemous and outrageous claims Mormonism makes and when you are ready to leave pray to God that you can know the real Jesus not the brother of Satan you claim him to be. May God have mercy on your soul

No need. I've got the Bible. No other book is necessary.
