Sexual Purity Programs/Organizations

    Howdy! From deep in the heart of South Texas!

    It has been a very long time since I have posted. The site looks totally different than I remember that it took me a while just how to figure out how to post.

    I wasn't sure where to post this but since this issue affects both sexes, I didn't think it should go in the mens private forum, which by the way, I forget how to access that forus as well.

    Anyway, I left Hawaii a long time ago and settled in the San Antonio area and just had a simple question regarding the topic.

    I know there are several Christian programs/sites that deal with sexual issues and just wanted to get feedback on who has been through any of them or that is familar with them. Here is a small list I am aware of:
    • Reformer's Unanimous (RU) - really for all addictions (am familiar with and been through curriculum)
    • Blazing Grace - strictly for sexual sin (familiar but have not been through)
    • Setting Captives Free - Has course for sexual sin, but also has courses for eating, depression, and other issues (familar and been through some of the purity and eating course)
    • Proven Men - Sexual type of sin only (been thru curiculum)
    • XXX Church (Sexual sin, but not very familiar with)
    • I am sure there are others....
    I feel that God is leading me to serve Him in this area and just wanted to get feedback from anyone that has been through any of these or that has knowledge of any of these.

    I would think that since many struggle with this problem, to include many inside of the church, that it is a very important issue!

    I am not familiar with these programs, but I know Jesus Said He came to "Set the captives Free" and the Works He does, we will do as well. And because HE dwells in Us through His Spirit, we can help deliver people from all sorts of unclean mindsets, sins, attitudes, and even demonic influence. I pray that you will dig a bit and learn how you can do what Christ has called you to do everyday without having to join a para-organization. You could even help your local church be involved in this ministry as well! PM if you have any questions. Thanks!
