One of the nice things about the Green New Deal is that it will pay those people who are unwilling to work. I signed up and I will get seven times as much money as I do at my little job now. Think how much I will get with overtime!!!

The Green New Deal is going to do away with all fossil fuels. No more electricity, gas or propane generators, gas motors, gas or oil furnaces just solar power and wind power and storage batteries. Millions of new jobs and you won't have to learn to code as a recently laid off journalist has to.

I worked with a Russian "Political Refugee" Software Engineer who told me about the 0% unemployment in Russia.

People were sometimes moved from the countryside into the bigger cities to provide a job.

She told me that In Moscow the number one job position is elevator operator.
Any building with an elevator was required to provide a chair and an elevator operator no matter how automated the elevator system.

Back in the 1950's when I applied for a job in a National Newspaper, I had to have a medical with the firm's doctor. I arrived at the building and was surprised that I had to go up in the lift (elevator) which the operator had to pull a rope in the corner to operate. It was quite a large lift. I have never seen anything like it before or since.
