I got to "AOC" and stopped listening...she's a puppet for the "Justice Democrats". Sad thing is, J.D. openly admit this and somehow few seem to care?

 

I agree. It is good that we all know what a nut case she is, but in continually publicising her mindless banter, we give her free publicity.

That's for sure. AOC, how dumb is she really? She has a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University yet she graduates and becomes a bartender. Then, all of a sudden, she decides to run against an establishment Democrat in a primary.and wins. Soros.

I think she's trying to be a left-wing version of Donald Trump - say something outrageous and get attention from the press. Of course, the kind of attention here is different and most of what AOC blurts out is wrong and crazy but the MSM just can't resist reporting every wild thing she says. And it's usually something the far left wants to here, not a coincidence.

I think the Democratic response to doing this was overdone since Obama used this camp for a short time. But Japanese-Americans whose ancestors were interned there are upset about seeing this practice occur again.

 

Yes, migrants are being sent to be sheltered at Fort Sill army base, which has been in existence since 1869. Yes, it was used for a short time as an internment camp in WWII. By referring to a 150 year old army base as a place "once used as a Japanese internment camp" the article introduces bias into the story, as if placing migrants there today is equivalent to what FDR did during war time.
