The mistreatment of Biden

    I couldn't find and article on line about this ( I only looked a little) but it has been reported on the news on TV quite a bit.

    Biden was making a case that he is and has always been willing to work with other people in our government when he can even though there are really strong disagreements in some other areas. In trying to make his case he used an example of his early days in the Senate in the 70's when he worked with some who he knew were segregationists on issues unrelated to that.

    So Booker and Harris (Dem Presidential candidates) jumped all over him for using that example as a good example of what and who they should be working with. Booker all but out right called the idea racist. Harris said it was wrong to work with someone like that because "if he had his way she wouldn't even be here right now.." .

    While I disagree with Biden on a great many things the way he is being treated is shameful and is similar to how both Trump and Kavanaugh have been treated.

    Further, Harris has revealed why there is so much animous in our houses of congress as she revealed it is her view some people should never be worked with even when you can agree lest they be given some level of credibility.

    This behavior has got to stop. For the record contrary to the lies about Trump he has attempted to work with the other side but like Harris, they have refused.

    Let me add one more line lest I be accused of a one liner.

    The MSM, Twitter, and other outlets are becoming woke to objectionable things (objectionable to liberals) that Biden did in the past. They are bringing this up now because Biden is not leftist enough for them. Biden keeps moving left but it's not good enough. They want a socialist candidate for 2020.

    Funny how this objectionable stuff didn't come out in 2008 or 2012.

    Well, less than a week ago, I was 100% sure Biden would be the nominee, but I'm not so sure now. I hope he isn't, he still would be tough to beat - national recognition, good debate skills, saner than the rest (okay, that's not saying much) but it really does seem like the MSM is trying to take him out. For who, it'll never be Bernie - he is old and he is Jewish and he's not even really a Democrat. Hillary and Michelle don't seem to have an interest this time, Kamala and Liz come off as mean schoolmarms. I know the press is in love with Buttgeig but that guy hasn't been vetted, he is not just too young and socialist, he is VERY dirty.

    Booker has problems, too, doubt he could ever do well in the Rust Belt, and he'd need to. Maybe a dark horse - please please please let it be Stacey Adams but remembering the structure of the primaries, she couldn't do well in any early state until Florida, and they'd have other ideas by then. Really think it will probably end up being Biden, Inslee (gag) or Hickenhopper, with maybe Beto in the VP slot.

    Apparently Beto is tainted goods now that he's lost to Cruz. I've seen critical articles about him lately.

    Which wacky Democratic idea will the voters buy into?

    Bernie (and others): Medicare for all.
    Stalwell: Ban guns
    Booker: Reparations, legal weed
    Warren: Soak the rich
    Beto: Watch my colonoscopy on a live stream
    Klobuchar: Impeach Trump
    Inslee: The Sky is falling

    Not as things stand. In addition to Light's post, don't forget Bernie proposed that felons should be allowed to vote from prison - that tanked him this time. Plus, I think a lot of people are onto his game now. And ALL of them support men being able to ruin women's sports.
