Now while I am here.....what is the (Confessing) that 1 John 4 speaks of? Does anyone know the meaning? And where in the NT is the first Confessing? Hint: It was confessed twice by two servants of God.
1 John 4 King James Version (KJV)
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Whoever can affirm this CONFESSING spoken of here, that too is present in the NT, is approved by God. Whoever can not well, as John said "hereby know we (The true believer's) the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Oh, the Confessing is a profession of the Covenant and the New Ark of it.At this time The New Ark is in the temple of God in heaven Revelation 11:.19Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

The Confessing is in essence putting forth the Living Ark before us in battle, and testing men and apparitions and spiritual visitations. If men can not confess it, nor angels then the believers know what spirit is before them..
I will try to be patient and wait to see who gets the answer right. It is relevant to this OP.
    Psalm 12:5-7
    The Godly are No More
…5“For the cause of the oppressed and for the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.” 6The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold. 7You, O LORD, will keep us; You will forever guard us from this generation.…
So you will find the CONFESSING not only in sum as 1John 4 is but the equation which glorifies this sum and is the CONFESSING.

I must pray for patience. Another hint: Many think the CONFESSING is to simply say JESUS is the Son of God. That is not true because evil spirits can say Christ is on earth in flesh and is the Son of God. Actually evil spirits can even say "I know who you are , you are the Holy one of God."
    Mark1:23-25
    Jesus Expels an Unclean Spirit
…23Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue: 24“What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!” 25But Jesus rebuked the spirit. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!”…

    Matthew 8:29
"What do You want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?"

    Luke 4:34
"Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"

THE CONFESSING IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT that NO evil spirit in a person will glorify nor evil angel confess.

    I'll try to wait.........

homologeo literally - say the same, acknowledge - to agree with a kindred spirit.
(it has other nuance i.e. agree, profess).

    1 John 4
to acknowledge that Jesus Christ came as a mortal man (flesh-sarx) to die in His flesh for the propitiation of the sin of humankind.

Test - not just ask, but observe, listen...

    Testing:

by observation: The fruit of the Spirit will be observed in those who have acknowledge the incarnation and are born of the Spirit.

    Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

    Listening for a tamed tongue
    James 3
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

I hear what you are saying and I get it better than you think. You seem to bypass what I have asked which was:

(Now while I am here.....what is the (Confessing) that 1 John 4 speaks of? Does anyone know the meaning? And where in the NT is the (first) Confessing? Hint: It was confessed twice by two servants of God. ...)

Is what the angel Gabriel and Elizabeth said the FIRST Confessing? Yes or No? Based on your answer I will continue.

Yes. The first earthly. There is perhaps also the following :
    Hebrews 1
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

The yes is important. People meditate on the Yes of the scriptures I pointed out concerning what Gabriel and Elizabeth said. And no one should be condemned for that.

The Rosary..... the Confessing is present and therefore the spirit of God is present in those who actually say it . Not talking about walking around with beads for show and kissing statues while not Obeying Christ. But true long hard prayer in faith and adoration.
    Ephesians 6:18
18 In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

Did you know, that when men end up in mortal sin they can no longer recite the Rosary? Jorge Bergoglio does not actually recite it himself , he allows others to lead in the prayer and he just moves his lips. PJP2 toward the end of his life could not publicly recite it anymore.

The Rosary first and foremost is to God the Father and is a profession of faith, and then asks the living Mother of God the Son to pray for us and sinners. The Rosary is a long hard PRAYER SAID ON BEHALF OF OTHERS.
The OP is bias and no one has thoroughly searched the scriptures concerning what is or is not true and acceptable in denominations. Just a bashing they go all the live long day! We all should be under the Universal agreement that service to Christ is the only objective of ANY Christian. I use universal in the meaning of a collective mindset and agreement. what universal means. Here there is a universal agreement to Bash Christians of other denominations. We should all stand upon the Orthodoxy of the written Word and PROTEST , against anything that is EVIL, as I do.

Too many throw out the baby with the dirty bath water that men surround Christian practices with. Just because you disagree with certain actions of certain men who are wolves in sheep's clothing does not mean you should throw out good doctrines built upon the foundation (Christ).
    1 Corinthians 11:
…18First of all, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19And indeed, there must be differences among you to show which of you are approved.

Differences are so that ,we who are shown to be approved ,show true Love because we see past the differences and embrace the truth each one brings. The approved show NO partiality and simply seek truth for sake of TRUTH. While the rest feel they are the only truth and even embrace the lie for the sake of their own . TRUTH IS TRUTH. If something is proven to be so according to the foundation, then it should not be rejected out of arrogance and pride. "Pride goes before a fall".

Isaiah 55:8-9 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
We must pray for the spirit of discernment to know that which are God's way in all the denominations and only keep that.
Then Christians will be of one mind.
Philippians 2: ( Notice Philippians means the same thing as Philadelphia BROTHERLY LOVE?)
    One in Christ

1Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being of one mind, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.

3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

    The Mind of Christ

5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, existing in the form of God,

did not consider equality with God

    something to be grasped,

    7but emptied Himself,

taking the form of a servant,

    being made in human likeness.

8And being found in appearance as a man,

    He humbled Himself

    and became obedient to death—

    even death on a cross.

9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place

and gave Him the name above all names,

10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

There will be one united church in Christ in these end of days. Rev. 12 symbolizes Mother Mary first and foremost with the imagery of the Woman who brings forth the male Child she is working on behalf of the kingdom of heaven . She prays for us and also has come in visitation just as she did from the beginning with Elizabeth. As being part of the house of Israel (Jacob)we have access to Jacob's ladder. This sign that appeared in the celestial bodies on Sept 23 2017 in its fullness and concluded over Israel, means those of gentile nations and those of the 12 tribes of Israel will be one house. The sign in the heavens represents the Virgin Birth and glorifies Christ's birth. Secondly, it represents Christ's Bride which is made in the Virgin Mary's image. Lastly the uniting of both Jew and Gentile under one covenant which is exactly what happen in Mother Mary because she being of the OC when called was made New by Christ and brought forth the New Covenant in His birth.
    2 Corinthians 11:1-
    Paul and the False Apostles
1I hope you will bear with a little of my foolishness, but you are already doing that. 2I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. For I promised you to (one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.) 3I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.…

People need to learn to love . Christ has had enough and He is going to soon try all men OF THE world. Brotherly Love will be kept from that trial. How can you be keep from that which is coming upon the world? Brotherly love will not be ill affected by the judgements that God is going to pass. He is going to try men and reveal them for what they are.

    Amos 3:
…6If a trumpet sounds in a city, will the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it? 7Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. 8The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy?…

The Two Witnesses are coming, they will convict men. They will be witnesses against the worldly , those NOT in the Love of Christ. Every TRIAL has Witnesses even the one God is going to put men under . Take this as food for thought. Do whatever you want with it. I am undaunted, I know that God will not let me be put shame nor the entire House of God.

Sometimes I meet a kindred spirit, most of the time I do not. But if not for the few heaven would have none. We are Few and far between.

I want to thank you Hank for your thoughtful consideration for my person. It is clear that if one can do the "CONFESSING" that John says is the test required that reveals if the spirit of God be within a person or even an apparition, that person is to be considered welcomed.

Now, since some like to say the Rosary and others prefer different long meditative wording, the point is to glorify Christ and all the brethren. For their glory is Christ within them. The Rosary is my meditative choice of prayer. I also simply speak to my Father as a child does any father. But when I choose to help a soul in need the Rosary is my weapon of Choice because it keeps my mind focused on the truths of the life of Christ and calls upon those saints of heaven to aid in the battle.

I am not telling you or anyone to say it. But it is clear that to say it that the spirit of God is within.

You mentioned the glorious mysteries, what of them, do you feel that any non Catholic or non Orthodox would have a problem with?

Part 28: The Roman Church decrees no burial for ‘heretics’, nor buying or selling with the ‘heretics.’

We are told, in Revelation 11:9, that the two witnesses killed by the beast are refused burial. Furthermore, in Rev. 13:17 we are told no man may buy or sell unless he has the mark of the beast, etc.

By no small ‘coincidence,’ the same Church which, for centuries, killed professing Bible-believers, also interdicted the Roman Catholic populace from conducting trade with the ‘heretics,’ as well as performing the rites of ‘Christian’ burial for ‘heretics;’ nor were they to be buried on holy Church grounds.

    Council of Tours 1163 (source)

That the Albigensian heretics are to be shunned.
In parts of Toulouse a damnable heresy has recently emerged, which is gradually spreading towards neighbouring areas and diffusing like a canker, through to Gascony and other provinces; many of which are already infected. Which, while in the form of a snake hiding inside its coil how much more it creeps secretly, more seriously while the Lord's vineyard those of a simple-mind are destroyed. Wherefore against them, we command that the bishops and all the priests of the Lord having their abode in those parts to be vigilant, and under the penalty of anathema to prohibit them where they are known to follow this heresy, nor to afford any one of them shelter on their land, or presume to impart protection. Commercial trade with them is forbidden; neither the sale nor the purchase of things may be undertaken with them, in order that that source of comfort to mankind might at least force them to see the errors of their lives to return to their senses. But if any man should attempt to be in opposition to this, and found to be a participant in this iniquity they shall be smitten by anathema. They are to be put into custody by Catholic princes and suffer the loss of all goods. And because of the different parties together in a covert, often come together, and in addition to the consent residing in one house no error in one case, having the home colony, such meetings are to be carefully investigated, and if they are found, they are to be forbidden with all due canonical strictness.”

    Third Lateran Council, 1179 (source)

“27. As St. Leo says, though the discipline of the church should be satisfied with the judgment of the priest and should not cause the shedding of blood, yet it is helped by the laws of catholic princes so that people often seek a salutary remedy when they fear that a corporal punishment will overtake them. For this reason, since in Gascony and the regions of Albi and Toulouse and in other places the loathsome heresy of those whom some call the Cathars, others the Patarenes, others the Publicani, and others by different names, has grown so strong that they no longer practise their wickedness in secret, as others do, but proclaim their error publicly and draw the simple and weak to join them, we declare that they and their defenders and those who receive them are under anathema, and we forbid under pain of anathema that anyone should keep or support them in their houses or lands or should trade with them. If anyone dies in this sin, then neither under cover of our privileges granted to anyone, nor for any other reason, is mass to be offered for them or are they to receive burial among Christians.”

    Fourth Lateran Council, 1215 (source)

    “3. On Heretics
We excommunicate and anathematize every heresy raising itself up against this holy, orthodox and catholic faith which we have expounded above. We condemn all heretics, whatever names they may go under. They have different faces indeed but their tails are tied together inasmuch as they are alike in their pride. Let those condemned be handed over to the secular authorities present, or to their bailiffs, for due punishment. Clerics are first to be degraded from their orders. The goods of the condemned are to be confiscated, if they are lay persons, and if clerics they are to be applied to the churches from which they received their stipends. Those who are only found suspect of heresy are to be struck with the sword of anathema, unless they prove their innocence by an appropriate purgation, having regard to the reasons for suspicion and the character of the person. Let such persons be avoided by all [i.e. commerce with them forbidden.] until they have made adequate satisfaction. If they persist in the excommunication for a year, they are to be condemned as heretics………..

“Catholics who take the cross [read: ‘kill in the name of Jesus’]and gird themselves up for the expulsion of heretics shall enjoy the same indulgence, and be strengthened by the same holy privilege, as is granted to those who go to the aid of the holy Land. Moreover, we determine to subject to excommunication believers who receive, defend or support heretics……. If any refuse to avoid such persons after they have been pointed out by the church, let them be punished with the sentence of excommunication until they make suitable satisfaction. Clerics should not, of course, give the sacraments of the church to such pestilent people nor give them a Christian burial nor accept alms or offerings from them; if they do, let them be deprived of their office and not restored to it without a special indult of the apostolic see…….”

[N.B. Due to the proliferation of unlicensed ‘heretics’ preaching the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Roman Church and Papacy as recorded in the Revelation, the Holy See was forced to interdict the preaching and teaching of this prophetic book, due to the immense interest generated among the common folk.]

Fifth Lateran Council, Session 11, 1516 (source)

“We decree and ordain, with the approval of the sacred council, that nobody -whether a secular cleric or a member of any of the mendicant orders or someone with the right to preach by law or custom or privilege or otherwise……. We command all who undertake this task of preaching, or will later undertake it, to preach and expound the gospel truth and holy scripture in accordance with the exposition, interpretation and commentaries that the church or long use has approved and has accepted for teaching until now, and will accept in the future, without any addition contrary to its true meaning or in conflict with it. They are always to insist on the meanings which are in harmony with the words of sacred scripture and with the interpretations, properly and wisely understood, of the doctors mentioned above. They are in no way to presume to preach or declare a fixed time for future evils, the coming of antichrist or the precise day of judgment; for Truth says, it is not for us to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. Let it be known that those who have hitherto dared to declare such things are liars, and that because of them not a little authority has been taken away from those who preach the truth.”

You seem to think I deny the Catholic Hierarchy is the Harlot and anyone who does not renounce their behavior is too a harlot. But still yet that does not mean you are NOT yourselves HERETICS! The offshoot of the HARLOT, who claim to be part of the UNIVERSAL UNDERSTANDING THAT CHRIST IS THE HEAD AND ONLY WAY.

Anyone who would call himself Catholic and deny the truths of the Harlotry of men in the position of thrones denies the obvious. I do not defend their lies, I defend the little ones who have been preserved through TRUE love of Christ and have brought TRUTHS to the table. Saint Peter wrote his first epistle from Rome , and called Rome Babylon, but also clearly said the Church of babylon greets you, greet each other with a Holy kiss.
    1 Peter 5:13-14
    Benediction and Farewell
…13The church in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, as does my son Mark. 14Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Then of course our Beloved apostle John reiterates . "a mystery Babylon" . But for sure when Christ says : "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE" He is saying those who are His ,He is calling. He does not say : "Come out of her and you will be My people".
Catholics hold the Dogma of the faith to them Christ is giving an increase in spirit that will enlighten them and they will recognize the LIES =weeds ,doctrines ,old dried up straw of self abased men.
I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE. But for sure you do not hold the Dogma of the faith.
    1. Christ is FATIMA, you will go whaaaat. I say this because of the APPARITIONS which have preserved TRUTH and were put forth for the end time ELECT. Since I am proficient , through Christ in understanding the riddles of the wise and their language, it means: Fatima= (SHINNING ONE) Mary said: In the shinning One the Dogma of the faith will be preserved, the Shinning one is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD ,CHRIST. Since He is the HEAD we will not be lead us astray we must TRUST IN HIM. As He said, heaven and earth will pass away but My words shall never pass away".

2.Water Baptism is an essential act in salvation and MUST be applied NO MATTER what.
    There are THREE acceptable ways:

    You must have missed this:
There is much debate and discussion concerning the proper application of baptism. Primarily the PROTESTANTS have a problem with all forms outside of immersion. I find that funny, reason being these same protestants will also say , water baptism is not a necessary part of salvation. To them it is simply a work of the flesh. They have much of the same argument toward the Eucharist, Anyway, that is rubbish! The works of the flesh are just that, works done before you believe in Jesus Christ-our Grace, Mercy and salvation. The bible addresses two types of works ;( Faith and Works), and (works outside of the faith) which non believers perform, they can not save a man no matter how good they appear. Any work done outside of Christ in whom God the Father has given for us to know Him, is outside of the grace in salvation.

    Sprinkling Water
    Numbers 19:13

'Anyone who touches a corpse, the body of a man who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from Israel Because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is still on him.

Any other religion today is considered a corpse , and the sprinkling of water (IN FAITH) will cleanse of that impurity.

    Hebrews 9:19

For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

For today the faithful do not use the blood of animals but those saved in the BLOOD OF THE LAMB sprinkle the purifying waters of FAITH upon the people in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

It is funny how protestants will say concessions are made if there is no water. But water available for sprinkling none is made. They gag at gnats and swallow camels.

    Hebrews 10:22

let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

    Numbers 19:18

'A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the furnishings and on the persons who were there, and on the one who touched the bone or the one slain or the one dying naturally or the grave.

The clean person is the one ANOINTED by the Christ in the order of Melchizedek and they may baptize through sprinkling, pouring and immersion. All three are acceptable applications . NO (application), is the only thing rejected. All God's words come back to Him fruitful. Even if there is no water God will provide for He is no hypocrite and what He says he upholds.

    Isaiah 55:10-12

…10For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, 11so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it. 12You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.…

Two arguments for water baptism not being a necessary part of salvation by protestants: the thief on the cross and that some received the Holy Spirit before water baptism. First: since it is clear that God is no hypocrite and His word comes back to Him prosperous , God provided the water for the thief on the cross. When Christ's side was pierced both blood and water spewed forth and a tempest rose and great rain storm and earth quake which the graves gave up the dead! ALL men were baptized BY GOD in this rain at Christ completed work on the cross. Those who died before Christ's coming and the thief on the cross received this anointing cleansing water. GOD WORD IS BOND and is TRUST WORTHY AND TRUE!
The oldest biblical reference to the crucifixion darkness is found in the Gospel of Mark, written around the year 70. In its account of the crucifixion, on the eve of Passover, it says that after Jesus was crucified at nine in the morning; darkness fell over all the land, or all the world (Greek: γῆν, translit. gēn can mean either) from around noon ("the sixth hour") until 3 o'clock ("the ninth hour").It adds, immediately after the death of Jesus, that "the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom".

The Gospel of Matthew has an almost identical wording: "From noon on, darkness came over the whole land [or, earth] until three in the afternoon." The author includes dramatic details, including an earthquake and the raising of the dead, which were also common motifs in Jewish apocalyptic literature: "The earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised."

    Further verses which support sprinkling,

    Ezekiel 36:25

"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and
    from all your idols.

    Numbers 8:7

"Thus you shall do to them, for their cleansing: sprinkle purifying water on them, and let them use a razor over
their whole body and wash their clothes, and they will be clean. I know protestants would hope Catholics
throughout the centuries would not have a legit baptism but they do. Legit doctrine is a must and must not be
based on hatred toward a brother, and a denial of their actions in faith.

As for those who received the Holy Spirit anointing of fire in the form of tongues before water baptism, that
happened as a proof from God to convince Peter and the Jews that the gentile too was worthy to be part of the
house of Israel . After Peter said "can anyone refuse the water to baptize these people". God had to give the
Jews a little push because Peter was a Jew for the Jews and wanted to reject the gentile's admission as did the
other Jews with Peter , but God said not so! "They who were not my people shall be My people , and in the very
place where it is said they are NOT a people, they shall be called the Son's of God! " They who are not , will be-
and God shall call them His Beloved.

The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit Acts 10:46-48

…46For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God. Then Peter said, 47“Can anyone withhold the
water to baptize these people? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have!” 48So he ordered that they
be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.…

POINT: water baptism is necessary, and God expect obedience to this. And it is more than taking a bath, if it
weren't then all bath taking would be sanctifying. It is prompted by the Holy Spirit and in the Holy Spirit and is
righteous obedience to God the Father, making us friends of God.

    POURING WATER: Isaiah 44:3

'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your
    offspring And My blessing on your descendants;

We are the thirsty land and ground which needs blessing.

    1 Corinthians 3:9

For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

    Genesis 35:14

Jacob set up a pillar in the place where He had spoken with him, a pillar of stone, and he poured out a drink of-
fering on it; he also poured oil on it.

    1 Corinthians 6:19

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from
    God? You are not your own;

    Ephesians 2:22

And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.

In Christ ,and God in us, we are the the temple of God and the cleansing water is upon us. Upon us is poured
the drink offering and anointing oil.

    You are God's Temple 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

16Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17If anyone
destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.…

    Joel 2:28

"It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will
prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.

His Spirit is in both water and fire,

That is why John came baptizing in the holy Spirit. The deeper refinement
come with fire and that engraves God's name upon the head/mind.

    Isaiah 12:3

3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

To draw water is to use a container and then you would pour it out.

Then there is IMMERSION obviously an acceptable means of baptism , if a tub or lake , or river be available do
    it.

POINT : ALL MEANS ARE ACCEPTABLE.

    BAPTIZO:

I want to address the Baptizo (Baptism) claim that only immersion is acceptable. The reason being is- some
Protestant sects say that other methods are invalid. Yet other methods have been used among various denomina-
tions like Orthodox and RCC, and some say their baptism is invalid. This primarly Based on a "Born Again"
movement which only became part of Protestantism in the 20th century.

The popular notion of being born again may be traced to evangelical churches, commencing in the mid 1960's,
during which decade a counter-culture developed among US Christians, just as it did among the broader popula-
tion. By the mid 1970's, political, entertainment, business and sports figures began to self-identify as "born
again." Some familiar names are among them; Charles Coulson (wrote the book, Born Again), Jimmy Carter,
Johnny Cash. Later, Tim Tebow, Chuck Norris. Curiously, George Wallace who claimed that the experience of
being "born again," caused him to repudiate his earlier support of racial segregation. Eventually, the concept
jumped the pond and spread among European Christian constituents.

These people tend to reject all prior teachings as all false. They believe they set the pace and ignore thousands
of years of experience throughout Christian history, which attest to many forms of baptism, and is supported by
the Word. They say Orthodox are not saved and RC's are not saved and even many Protestant sects who deploy
various forms of baptism are not saved. They make ridiculous arguments which state baptism by water is not
necessary as part of the act in salvation, yet calls everyone's baptism outside of their sect invalid. They teach
that it is the least of doctrine to keep. You have read what the word says about that. Whoever teaches as least,
His commandments will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. They make concessions only for their own
arguments and condemn everyone else. They make concessions for people on planes, but not for those with a
jug of water, a cup of water ex..... if there is no lake or tub for immersion no concession will be made.

You pay tithes of mint, dill, and cumin, but you have
disregarded the weightier matters of the Law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. You should have practiced the
latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. 25Woe to
you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of
    greed and self-indulgence.…

Does the word baptism (Baptizo) mean immersion and/ or sprinkling, pouring ?

Definition to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge (of vessels sunk)to cleanse by dipping or submerging,

to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one's self, bathe (there are many ways described in the OT to per-
form ceremonial washing, and not all are full body immersion.)

to overwhelm (to overwhelm can mean to pour water over ones head)

    INFORMATIVE POST: CARM FORUMS

    by Matt Slick

No, the word "baptism" does not always mean immersion. There are several New Testament usages that clearly
have different meanings. Let's take a look.

    Trouble

Mark 10:38, "But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking for. Are you able to drink the
cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?”

Mark 10:39, "And they said to Him, 'We are able.' And Jesus said to them, 'The cup that I drink you shall
drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized.'"

Luke 12:50, “I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I
have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!"

These next verses speak of being baptized with the Spirit. This isn't an immersion. It is a pouring upon because
the Holy Spirit is always poured upon a person. If the Scriptures tell us that the Spirit is poured upon us and we
are baptized with the Spirit, then it makes sense to say that baptism here means pouring upon.

Pour upon with the Holy Spirit

Isaiah 44:3, "I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants."

Joel 2:28, And it will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind . . . "

Joel 2:29 “And even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days."

Acts 2:17, "And it shall be in the last days," God says, "That I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all man-
    kind."

Acts 2:18, "Even upon My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit
    and they shall prophesy."

    Baptized with the Holy Spirit

Matt. 3:11 “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier
than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."

Mark 1:8, “I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 3:16, "John answered and said to them all, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming
who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy
    Spirit and fire."

John 1:33, “And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon
whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’

Acts 1:5, "for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from
    now.”

    Washings and Sprinkling

If that isn't enough to show that the word baptize does not always mean immersion, there are derivations of the
word that also show it can mean washing and sprinkling. But first, let's take a very short look at the word
    "baptize" in the Greek.

In Greek, nouns change their spelling depending on their usage. In English, for example, we have the word ac-
tor, actors, actresses, actresses. These words are "cognates"; that is, they are related to each other in form. The
word "actor" changes form and with it plurality and gender is expressed, but the root of the word is "act." The
same thing goes with baptismois, baptismon, baptismous, etc. The root of the word is bapt, and the word as a
whole changes form depending on usage. Here are a few cognates.

ßapt???, baptidzo, baptize (Matt. 3:6; Mark 1:5; Luke 3:7; John 1:25; Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:3)

    ßapt?st??, baptistas, baptist (Matt. 3:1; 14:2; Luke 7:20; 9:19)

    ß?pt?sµa, baptisma, baptism (Matt. 3:7; Mark 1:4; Luke 12:50; Acts 1:22; Eph. 4:5; Col. 2:12)

    ßapt????te?, baptizontes, baptizing (Matt. 28:19; John 1:25; 3:22; 4:1; 10:40)

    ßapt?sµ??, baptismon, washings (Heb. 6:2)

    ßapt?sµ???, baptismois, washings (Heb. 9:10)

So, that is how Greek works. The one word has different forms, the same as English: baptize, baptizing, bap-
tized, baptist, etc. This is important because we find a baptism cognate in two particular verses that cannot
mean immersion but instead means washings and/or sprinkling.

Hebrews 6:2, "of instruction about washings, and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and eter-
    nal judgment."

The word "washings" is baptismon in the Greek. Here is another.

Heb. 9:7-13, "but into the second only the high priest enters, once a year, not without taking blood, which he
offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. 8 The Holy Spirit is signifying this,
that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed, while the outer tabernacle is still standing, which is a
symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper
perfect in conscience, 10 since they relate only to food and drink and various washings [baptismois], regulations
for the body imposed until a time of reformation. 11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good
things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say,
not of this creation; 12 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered
the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the
ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,

If you read the context, you will see that the "washings" (baptisms) refer to the Old Testament rituals which in-
cluded the sprinkling of blood (v. 13). That is the context. This makes sense since anointings and atonements
were done by sprinkling--not by immersion.
    END OF EXCERPT FROM CARM.
See I reach across denominational lines when someone speaks a truth as this Mark Slick who is a Protestant did in his Carm post. He had TRUTH to share and all TRUTH concerning our faith is to be embraced, because it is to love Christ in another!

So, automatically saying that baptism means immersion is wrong. Words mean what they mean in context; and
sometimes it means trouble, pour upon, or washings.

Last but not least, Infant baptism: Proverbs 22:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

    Jesus Blesses the Children

13Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the
disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not
hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15And after He had placed His hands on
them, He went on from there.…

ALL that which Christ preached is the Kingdom of heaven and He said children are not to be hindered. Priest
anointed in this end of the age should not hinder the children. Parents should baptize their infants and all chil-
dren under the age of reason. This is about our faith, just as the other religions raise their children in theirs ,we
are to raise ours in the TRUTH!

They might, some of the dogma is speculative but as you say there is the element of choice, some might prefer its mysticism.

Elaborate on that speculative Dogma. For sure with scripture alone we must be able to prove or disprove. After all there is NO speculating with the Word.
    2Timothy 3:
    All Scripture is God-Breathed
…15From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.…

There must be some support somewhere in the scriptures that would lend itself to men building their doctrine of the Rosary upon. If it can be found we must accept it as the building that is mentioned in the written word. After all men are their doctrines.

The last two - the Assumption and Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Most Catholic and Orthodox point to this scripture:

Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Separated Brethren say that the woman is Israel.

There is no veneration given her in this passage.

If it is Mary, being filled with the grace of God as the Archangel stated at the Annunciation, then she would not force veneration upon the unwilling : but says

John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Here First I will address a FALSE Doctrine called a Dogma ( The Immaculate Conception) . I am after all unbiased and show no partiality.
See , I believe we are at a major juncture in our history. Christ's soon return brings with it EDIFICATION. We are at that time where men go to and fro like sparks and knowledge is rapidly acquired. Not like when past men of theology poured endlessly over documents and painstakingly sought to devise doctrines. All the denominations have "fathers", teachers etc... who have made mistakes. I believe we are in a season of a new song which is the everlasting gospel Rev.14 which has to do with the bringing forth of the Male Child of Rev.12. I believe Christ is serving up the end time wine and turning what is impotent to potent.
Though certain souls like myself are given a New Song , as Rev.14 points out ,it is the everlasting Gospel which simply means you are going to have doctrines corrected and the Gospel spoken to you in a new way, but it is everlasting to everlasting because it isChrist approved and He is God!
    IMMACULATE CONCEPTION:
In Christian theology, the Immaculate Conception is the conception of the Virgin Mary free from original sin by virtue of the merits of her son Jesus. The Catholic Church teaches that God acted upon Mary in the first moment of her conception, keeping her "immaculate".[1][2]

The Immaculate Conception is commonly confused with the virgin birth of Jesus, the latter being, rather, the doctrine of the Incarnation. While many Christians believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, it is principally Roman Catholics, along with various other Christian denominations, who believe in the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception.

Although the belief that Mary was sinless, or conceived without original sin, has been widely held since Late Antiquity, the doctrine was not dogmatically defined in the Catholic Church until 1854 when Pope Pius IX, declared ex cathedra, i.e., using papal infallibility, in his papal bull Ineffabilis Deus,[3] the Immaculate Conception to be doctrine. The Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8; in many Catholic countries, it is a holy day of obligation or patronal feast, and in some a national public holiday.[
Though the TITLE and application concerning the Blessed Mother is true, it was wrongly defined. And the false definition has been given the title of a DOGMA.
However, all Dogmas are TRUTHS that are built upon the Authority of the Shinning One Christ.

The Definition of Immaculate Conception as we have been given, is incorrect. See, before its being defined, it floated around Christian circles as discussion. It was not until Pope Pius IX gave it a defined meaning and his defined meaning , he called a Dogma .There was no definition in the Catholic Church before that definition was put up as a standard. It was simply in the beginning, an inspired thought. A thought I believe is holy inspired, but falsely defined. Second when Mother Mary said it to Bernadette she never gave the definition then. The little ones took her at her word and love her.

However, the support for it was not thoroughly investigated through scripture. To me it is elementary . Mary being the prophesied Woman in Genesis 3:15 of whom the promise of the Enmity between her and satan is foretold, would have to conceive Immaculately. Unlike Eve who conceived her offspring with the stain of sin. Does this mean that Mary at her conception in her mother's womb was conceived without sin? Absolutely not! Because that would contradict Paul who as a master builder, laid a foundation that upon, men build. And he clearly says:
