a slip of the tongue - will not hold it against him

DISCLAMER - I am NOT a Biden fan.
I would never vote for Biden (unless he was running against Hillary;))

...someone should put together a montage of all his "slip of the tongues" going into 2020. Could be very revealing.

Me too, which is why I am refraining for running for the Presidency. Mr. Biden needs to take the high road and retire gracefully. What is it with these people that they just cannot stop trying to attain power? Good grief, enough already!

So, the fact that the shooting in Texas was in El Paso and not Houston, and the other shooting was in Dayton, Ohio and not Michigan isn't more bothersome than getting the day wrong?

If one were to be gracious, I suppose I can understand mistaking El Paso with Houston if someone from Delaware had to make an impromptu comment. Mixing up states, though?

Apparently Trump similarly initially commented on the shootings in Toledo rather than Dayton...

But how come the national media didn't comment on the shootings in Chicago?

Because it happens every weekend. Because it's typically one on one shootings and not mass shootings.

I think that this is because of two reasons: 1. It has become so common that it is no longer sensational, so it is not newsworthy. 2. Chicago is a Democratic Party stronghold.

Adonia - Exactly whom are you referring to as "Orange Man Racist"?

"Orange Man" is a term used by radio talk show host Andrew Wilkow. He uses the term when describing how the left sees President Trump. He actually used the term "Orange Man Bad" and since the left is always calling him a racist, I used the term "Orange Man Racist" to describe how the left might call President Trump in that same way.

In that case - you should have stated that was a term used by Mr. Wilkow.

To clarify check this BB rule

Personally, I liked his “eight more years of Trump” gaffe best. :Thumbsup

But it wasn’t clear from the quote who his god is. Two terms? Trump? Trump's presidency? :Wink

“We can tolerate four years of this man, but we have a hell of a lot to make up, nationally and internationally," Biden said. "But my God — eight years? Eight years of this man will fundamentally change the character of our country.”

During a Democratic primary debate last week, Biden misstated his frequent line about eight years of Trump, among other flubs. Biden warned that "eight more years of Trump will change America in a fundamental way," even though Trump is constitutionally limited to one more four-year term after 2020.
