Probably my favorite fiction novel has been Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers.
A friend of mine sparked an interest in me with the author, Ted Dekker. I've read one of his books and debating if I want to read the other 4 or 5 of his books sitting in my bookshelf. I'm not sure how to take his novels.... Have you read any of his books?
Years ago, I only read christian fiction (mostly historical romance) but for the past several years, I'm more interested in books that promote growth spiritually. I love to study about the end times, prophecy, and apologetics. The problem is the more I read; the more there is to learn!

    Thanks for the welcome!

You're welcome. I also go by my middle name as I had a severe speech impediment as a child and could not even pronounced my own first name. :)

It's been years and years since I've read his novels, mostly the early ones. Blink was excellent, as was Blessed Child. Thr3e was a pretty good thriller, kept the tension high.

At first his books had Christian characters and there was a Christian theme but as time went on he got more and more into horror and less and less about Jesus. I remember starting the Black, Red, White trilogy but it was a startlingly bad fantasy story, very gory, and I gave up after the first book. A couple years later I tried another one of his books (can't remember which one because I quit after the first several chapters) but by then it was a gore-fest with pure evil characters.

I liked the Circle trilogy and the Showdown series. Dekker hints at Universalism, though, and by the time he gets to the Rise of the Mystics he is fully there (fictionalized, though).
