If a small church was wanting to have a Friday night Saturday Bible conference in which two speakers would present, who would you recommend?

If a small church was wanting to have a Friday night, Saturday, night, Sunday morning evangelistic service, who would you recommend?

Do churches even do Bible conferences and evangelistic meetings any more?

    Me and you, brother. :)
Yes. We don't have a Bible conference, but know of churches that still do have something like that. We are having a weekend "evangelistic meeting" in a couple of weeks.

I will trust that the folks will be open and listening to the Holy Spirit.

Could you give a description of what you believe these would look like?

The difference is that the Bible conference would focus upon one theme and/or book or partial book.

The evangelistic meeting would be to bring both awareness of the assembly to reach out to the lost and unchurched, and to the lost and unchurched the need of Christ and devotion to Him.

Bring in a creationist. AiG might be the best, but CMI or ICR might be less expensive.

    looking for recommendations, only.

    Either.

The gospel message of salvation should be presented the same whether one is reformed or not, "whosoever will may come."

If it is a Bible conference, depending on the topic and what is expected would perhaps effect the presentation, but even then, it would play a minor roll.

For example, a good bible expositor such as the late J. Vernon McGee would not major on view, but upon the Scriptures as presented and applicable to the audience's need and growth.

I'm not certain that discussing the Genesis creation would be profitable, but it may be. I just don't know.

It may or may not work for you at this time, for this venue, but I would recommend looking into it.

Most don't realize just how important Genesis is, even in relation to the Gospel, especially for this day and age.

Ken Ham's new book is helpful in understanding this.
