You are right about what exactly and what error would would that be? All I hear are your words. Where is the scripture in God's WORD that says SUNDAY is "THE LORDS DAY"? I did not think this would be a very difficult OP that some are making it out to be.

Well that is not true. The SABBATH according to JESUS was made for all of mankind and JESUS is the LORD of it *MARK 2:27-28. The SABBATH was also made on the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week so could not have been made and given only to ISRAEL as there was no ISRAEL or JEW when the SABBATH was made. The Sabbath was made for mankind according to the very words of JESUS.

Now back to the OP. Where is the scripture that says SUNDAY is "THE LORDS DAY"? Not sure why so many people are seeking to talk about anything else accept the OP questions. I guess it is because there is no scripture is there.

May you be blessed and receive God's Word

It has everything to do with this topic and the fact that you cannot see that is troubling.

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

    1Co 16:2

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

    Act 20:7

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

There is no commandment, they started to meet to remember the Lord's resurrection,

    1 Peter 3:v.8

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one Day.

    Verses 9-14
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    10
But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night (this has nothing to do with Sanday, absolutely); in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the WORKS that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be DISSOLVED, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the Day of God
(the Lord's Day), wherein the heavens being on FIRE (the FIRST and the SECOND HEAVENS) shall be DISSOLVED, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

    1John 2:v.28 -
28 And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

Hi there IoDebar nice to meet you. Did you know the disciples met together every day of the week *ACTS 2:46-47. Now the question was; Where is the scripture that says that "THE LORDS DAY" is Sunday? None of these scriptures say that do they?

    Thanks for sharing though

    Blessings.

Well, the cults of days is an invention of the spirit of lie, Sunday or Saturday have nothing to do with the Lord's Day, absolutely. The Day of the Lord is the seventh and lasst Day or seventh and last millennium.

Now, about the day (one common day of the week) of JESUS's coming, it is the day 1.335 after the manifestation of the Abomination of Desolation revelead by the prophet Daniel.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Dan.12:v.12

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1John 2:v.18

Well nope again. Sorry brother you are not doing too well are you. This post is simply your words and not God's Word that are full of slander and this is sad for you.

    So let me ask you again;

Where is the scripture that says SUNDAY is "THE LORDS DAY" You either follow God's WORD or the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God. Which is it?

JESUS says all those who follow the teachings and traditions of men are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. It is also written many do these things out of ignorance and God does not hold us accountable until we receive a knowledge of his truth and reject His Word *ACTS 17:30; JAMES 4:17.

So who do we believe and follow? God's WORD or the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God?

John was caught up twice, the first in Rev.1:v.10. John made a travel in the time and in the space and was brought to this time of Apocalypse, and what he saw he did write the things of the chapters 1to3,

In the second time, John was caught up to the third heaven (Rev.4:v.1-2), and all things he did see is written in Revelation from chapter 4 to 22.

Around 60 years after JESUS ascention, our Lord was, let us say, "worried" with His people, with the Churches, not only of that time of the Churches of Asia, around year 95AD, but also of our time simultaneously, maybe much more "worried" with His Church of this time of the end, that is time of Apocalypse, because apostasy would grow exceendingly in this time (1Tim.4:v.1& 2Thes.2:v. 2-4), this is the main signal of the manifestation of the MAN of sin, the son of perdition, even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.

The things exposed above reffer to what John saw in his FIRST RAPTURE, and are written in Revelation Chapters 1-2&3 - whose things were happening in the 7 Churches of Asia around the year 95, and the same are happening in this end of time, and will happen during the Antichrist's kingdom that will be established soon, very soon.

After these things John was raptured by the second time, now from the Lord's Day, that is this seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium, to the third heaven where was showed unto him all things as they are written in the chapters 4 to 22.

    Revelation 4:v.1-2

1 - After this I - John - looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 - And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Everything John did write about the 7 Churches of Asia in Revelation chap.2-3, were happening in his time around the year 95, and are happening also in this end of the time, and is and will be worse than that time.
What was hapenning with the angels of the Churches in the year 95AD?

Church of Ephesus - the angel left his first love and was fallen - And the Church?

1 - Conditions of the angel of the church of Ephesus: Rev. 2:4-5 - 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Church of Pergamos - the angel was tolerant with bad things-idolatry, fornications

2 - Conditions of the angel of the church of Pergamos - Rev. 2:14-16 - 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Church of Thyatira - the angel was tolerant with fornications and with the devilish Jezabel's doctines of idolatries and more fornications

3 - Conditions of the angel of the church of Thyatira - Rev.2: 20-21 - 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Chuch of Sardis - the angel was spiritually dead - And the Church?

4 - Conditions of the angel of the angel of Sardis - Rev.3:1-3 - And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. (The dead praise not the Lord, ...(Psalms 115:v.17) 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Church of Laodiceah - the angel was wretched, miserable, poor, BLIND and naaked. And the Church?

5 - Conditions of the angel of the church of Laodiceah - Rev.3:16-17 - 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and BLIND, and naked: (if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.)

    Churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia

6 - About the Churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia, there was not problems with the angels of them, but whith the members and admirers of the Jews or inhabitants of Israel:
Rev. 2:v.9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev. 3:9 - Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

All these things above are happening in the Churches of the present time, the time of Apocalypse, where many members or almost all members are admirers of the Jews in general, and discern not them which are liars and are of the synagogue of Satan.

Brethren, notice that until this moment described in Revelation chapters 1 to 3 the apostle John had not yet been caught up into heaven, but to the Lord's Day only, the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium (Rev.1:v.10).

John was caught up twice and by the second time from the Lord's Day - that is the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium - unto heaven as is written in Revelation 4:v.1.

    1Thessalonians 5:v.2-11

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord - the Lord's Day - so cometh as a thief in the night.

    3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
    and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that Day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the Day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the Day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

What prevails is the Word of God. The Word is God.

Yeah, the Word is God, He, the Word, is God.

    Matthew 25:v.6-13

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the Day nor the Hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
