After my post #60, I see Dave Gilbert went back and edited his post 59 to include "this is my last post."

Bottom line, in my post #40, I asked HankD 5 questions looking for the specific tenets of Calvinism he rejects. I got no specific response, instead I got he has problems with them.

However, in posts 42 and 43, Dave offered his answers to the 5 questions, citing dozens of verses supposedly supporting his Calvinistic view. I picked just one of them, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and demonstrated it did not support total spiritual inability affecting all of the lost, unbelieving people.

My view is the gospel is hid from those who make up soil #1. They do not hear nor understand the gospel, the god of this age has indeed blinded their minds I presented my view in post #54.

I also noted that the verse, 2 Corinthians 4:4 actually refutes the "T" of the TULIP because the god of this age could not have blinded people who were, according to the "T" already blind. The absurd answer, he blinded them but he did not have to blind them. No kidding, that was the response.

Once again, there is no actual support anywhere in scripture for the TULI of the TULIP.

Ok i'm gonna fight for the Calvinists....I'm the best at being Calvinist out here.

    Gospel is pretty simple.

If God likes you he will save you and if Jesus Christ unconditionally hates you well your just flip out of luck and will toast for all eternity.

Are you saved by any work you do? "No faith is a gift"

Does God give that gift to everyone? No he picks and chooses you are saved, you I hate, you are saved, you are not, I like you. He hates and loves uncoditionally. For no reason at all he will hate bob and damn him. Likewise for absolutely no condition Jesus loves buck and will save him.

And Jesus is the perfect example we should follow. on a whim hating folks over here and loving folks over there.

Did you save yourself? Yes or no? Or did God grab 2 pounds of faith and shoved in your heart?

If GOD saved you all by himiself cause nothing you did, then it is quite obvious you are elect and have the license to sin.

Look it is an absolute MIRACLE, like the lottery absolute abnormality of nature that God would bother to save anyone, because most of us are convinced and expected him to be a unforgiving jerk to begin with Cause I think everyone deserves to burn in hell. So you should be happy its an absolute shocking miracle that God would bother to save a wretch like us.

Did GOD SAVE YOU? did God do FOR YOU something he did not do FOR someone else.

    Stellar fight for the Calvinists.

But the non-Cals have an advocate too: "Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so."

Seems to me that you think you know. To over come for me means to accept Christ as Savior. Because we have the Savior we have already over come the world in Christ. We are no longer part of the world. This world is not my home I'm just passing through.

Oh, so that's what Jesus did! ... He accepted Himself as Savior!
Like I said, get someone to explain to you what Jesus is saying in Rev 3:21.
Or perhaps, you don't want to know what He is saying ... to you and to us!

If you disagree then state your disagreement. Then we can discuss it. Unless of course you can't. Obviously my explanation in your opinion is wrong.
I already know you believe you have over come sin. Although I don't believe you.
