The nation must have a conversation about its own irresponsibility. Elections are the ideal time to have that conversation.     The national debt is paid off through inflation, a tax that the stuvil public doesn't recognize as a tax. A family or business can't raise revenue by printing money. But, the government can, and does.

    The parasite territory of Porto Rico is going through bankruptcy. They use American dollars, and can't print money.
