With neither the bang nor whimper of a mocker, but with wisdom delighting and rejoicing.

This is the version of the Big Bang in every college text book. One second there was nothing, a fraction of a second later there was an observable portion alone of the universe was 85 billion light years across, give or take. What version do you think isn't a derogation? And, why do you quibble?

The pejorative use of "quibble" fits better with an agenda bent on avoiding truth rather than seeking it, that is, it is unfitting here. The upshot for me is that no matter how you slice it, the universe declares the glory of its Creator.

Now, just how old are those textbooks you mention? The only reference I can find to your super large expansion denies it, noting that the earliest "Big Bang" models were insufficient to account for all observations, so had to be refined. They have been refined many times since then. Such is the nature of the scientific process.

This in no way changes the fact that the universe is observed to be expanding, something that greatly bothered atheists (and certain others) from the outset. Why? Because of the implied beginning, and the opening verse of the Bible: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

I'm talking about current text books, which claim the universe is about 14 billion years old. Refinement? What a crock!

The only reference you can find to large expansion denies it? Try using the word "inflation".

Crock may be a correct assessment of the majority of theories, as many are based on a desire to fit preconceived philosophical and theological positions. Unfortunately, Christians are far from immune to exhibiting this phenomenon.

Since we don't even know what gravity is, what energy is, etc., it is not possible to be definitive on all the "whys" and "hows" regarding universal expansion, especially its acceleration and even more so its unknowable boundary beyond, so I'll just leave it here, and fall back on my earlier highlighted points.

Appearent age may or may not tell us the age of anything. We need to understand the basis of the dating of a thing. What is actually true matters.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Not just different wavelengths, but opposite ends of the spectrum. Even so, Amen, because of Him.

I'll tell you it's not day 7 according to Scripture. That day happened THOUSANDS of years ago.

Genesis 1:28-31 is prophecy of a future event at the end of the present 6th Day/Age UNLESS you can tell us of any time in the past when Humankind (Adam) had dominion or rule over mosquitoes, viruses and Angels. Also, tell us of ANY time in the past when ALL creatures were vegetarians as Genesis 1:30 clearly states. The Lion will NOT lay down by the Lamb until AFTER Jesus returns at the Rapture. Amen?

Amen, since Jesus IS the Light of the first Day in Genesis 1:3. He is the beginning of God's creation of the perfect Heaven. Amen?

No it's not. There is literally no way you can get that from the actual text.

Weak reply. Would you like me to post Scripture which shows the fulfillment of the prophecy shown in Genesis 1:28-31?

I'm not going to try and debate you. I've already tried to teach you how Adam was not created on the 3rd day as you claim. You didn't believe me or else didn't read it.

All I'll tell you now is that there is no passage - nowhere - in the Bible that says a lion will lie down with a lamb. Just ain't in the Bible.

It's not a fact that the universe is expanding. But, it is a fact that according to current Big Bang theory, at one time there was no universe, and a small fraction of a second later, the visible portion alone of universe expanded to 85 billion light years across from something smaller than a part of a pea.

The Big Bang isn't the least needed to point out the universe has a beginning. Regardless of the origin of the universe, all the stars would eventually burn out as fuel is finite, therefor the age of the universe is finite. Further, the Big Bang doctrine is not convincing anyone that God exists for the reason that the universe must have had a beginning. What it is doing is convincing people that science has an explanation for the origin of the universe, therefor God isn't needed, which is sad because Big Bang theory is pure nonsense.

Genesis 2:8-9 clearly shows that TREES were made AFTER Adam was formed from the dust. FYI, Trees GREW on the 3rd Day. Genesis 1:12

I know but it will happen. Isaiah 11:7 shows that Bears and Lions will eat straw like the Ox. This happens AFTER Jesus returns to this Earth.

Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

As I posted. Genesis 1:30 is prophecy of a future event.

It wasn't a prophecy. It was fulfilled the moment it was spoken.

We have already shown how IDIOTIC this interpretation is. It's not founded in reality.

See my last post to Scarlett. Isaiah 11:7 shows that ALL creatures become vegetarian AFTER Jesus returns to rule and reign for a thousand years, which is a future event.

Jesus explains WHY the present 6th Day continues:

2Co 6:2 For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
