"After a disastrous interview about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew announced Wednesday that he is quitting his public duties “for the foreseeable future.”

Essentially, the Duke of York will now go dark — as sponsors of some of the 200 charities he endorses had already begun to abandon him, concluding that he no longer casts a royal glow but controversial shade."

He was fired, as he should be. Harry & Meghan will be next if they continue their selfish ways. The Firm will protect itself from self destruction. Too bad for the Queen, these years should be golden for her. She has done the right thing but her family is betraying her, forcing her hand. I empathize.

Could not have been better said, or also understated.

Queen Elizabeth II is arguably one of the greatest Monarchs Britain has ever had.
    She is a rock.
She is a defender and example of all that was good in the British Empire for centuries, and she has protected it for decades.
What her children have done to her is a travesty.

Much more than smiling and waving, Elizabeth truly understands what the job entails, it is the protection of a language, a culture and a tradition and the duty of embodying all that it entails.....
Harry's marrying of a divorcee' American harlot is a death-knell to what that poor woman is trying to accomplish.

I pity her; I admire her; and I sigh as I watch the death of one of the greatest Empires the world has ever known.

Her 14th great-grandfather is Alfred the Great.....the man who can be genuinely credited as having preserved the English way of life, law, and language....

English, incidentally, is attested as a literary language older by 3 centuries as any Romance language e.g. French, Italian, Romanian, Spaish, et. al......
Because her forebear, Alfred preserved it as the language of literature, Theology and knowledge.

Us, 'Muricans only have access to the most expressive and Universal Lingua-Franca the World has ever known because of the legacy that Alfred, and his 14th great-granddaughter protects. It is Apocalyptically horrid to watch the downfall of the British Monarchy. And Elizabeth's horrid children are the tools of Satan used to bring it down.

That is the legacy she protects, and she does it brilliantly, but her children have sacrificed that legacy upon the altar of whoredoms and neglect and ignorance. Watching the death of Britain is to watch the death of Western Anglo-Saxon culture, and it is tragic. Elizabeth is a hero.....I weep for her.

I think you forget the offending adjective for Harry and his life of fornication since his teens. It's been a joke for years.

He humiliated his grandmother and his station in life long before he met his wife.

The queen knighted at least one moral reprobate that I know of, and that was Elton John. Perhaps even Paul McCartney. Maybe her chickens are coming home to roost.

The queen doesn't have any choice in whom she knights, She is gived a list and has to abide by it. The last monarch who went against parliament was George III when he refused to sign 2 bills that went against his Christian beliefs.

There are now more kabob and curry shops in England than fish and chip places. The advent of unlimited immigration thanks to Tony Blair and Labour sealed England's demise. Oh well, nothing is forever - they had a good run is all one can say.

I suppose you mean Kebab. I don't know about the rest, but withing ¼mile of here we have three fish and chip shops, one of which has a kebab shop next door, one chinese takeaway, and NO curry shops. We have one Nepalese Restaurant (Everest Restaurant) on the edge of town, very popular with our family, there was panic in our family when it was thought that it was on fire, but relief when it was realised that it was a shop to the rear that was on fire. There is another smaller Nepalese eating house in the town. centre. There are two Pizza places that I know of, Dominoes and Pappa Johns. I would much rather have a good curry than a fake pizza.

The British\English royal family has weathered through this kind of situation before. I expect Harry to step up his involvement. So, much for being a second son.
