At first, I felt awkward carrying a piece, but now it seems like nothing more than having nail clippers in my pocket. Zones where "No Firearms" is observed pose the greatest threat for gun-related violence.

I once worked at a gun shop, as a gunsmith. I have a great deal of gun parts laying around my home, plus plenty of working pieces. But, yes, I think Christians should be armed. It should even be a law that every adult male (aside from convicted felons) own a gun.

    Why just males?

Edit to add: A law is a bad idea. One should have the freedom to not own one, much like one should have the freedom to not have mandated health insurance.

You're against a law requiring women to own guns, yet you're objecting to me not saying there should be a law requiring women to own guns? Try to figure out what's going on in your head.

Why just males? Why not? I think you're confused about women. But, I strongly support the right of women to buy guns.

A gun, unlike health insurance, is a trivial expense. And, I'm not opposed to requiring health insurance, per se, unless you want to let sick people die for lack of medical care.

It was a simple question. Why not include women in your requirement?

    The insult is unnecessary.

    ONLY IN THE USA.

Most of the verses quoted counter your post.

It is explained in the video. If you are invaded in the night or taken by surprise, you have a right to kill in self-defense. Otherwlse, call the police. Watch the video. He cut the verse but I quoted all of it for reference.

It must irk you that God is a warrior? The Christian has a duty to try to stop the slaughter of the innocent. That would include the murder epidemic in London.

As I said, and explained why, a law mandating that anyone be required to own a firearm would be a bad one.

Now your turn. Again, Why only males?

And if you can answer without more personal insults, that would be nice too.

Yet, you've faulted me for not saying women should be required to own a gun. You haven't explained that.

No, I asked you why men only and not women, too. Stop reading into what is not written.

Why will you not just answer? I am curious.

I am beginning to think you just want to fight with someone. Look elsewhere if you do.

You still haven't answered why you questioned men only, if you don't think women should be required to own a gun. Why didn't you just say no one should be allowed to own a gun, and leave it at that?

Tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but at this point am thinking you’re just a simple troll.

Christians should put on the armor of God and take up the the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Anything else is acting like the world.

    Peace to you

See, you are contradicting the Scripture. God Himself is a warrior. The video addressed the sword of the Spirit, which is not the same word as the word used in Hebrew to go buy a sword, which was a defensive dagger according to the video linked above. I want to be like God and defend the innocent.

I have no complaint if the Anabaptists, or any other Christians, in our nation decline to take up arms.

I’m not contradicting scripture, I’m quoting scripture. The “sword of the Spirit” is defined in the passage as “the Word of God”, not a literal sword or a defensive dagger.

We are instructed by God to “arm” ourselves with the Word of God. God doesn’t need us to do violence toward anyone.

I’ve heard of people, Christians?, who justify violence against others (ab$rtion providers and clinics etc...) by claiming they are protecting the innocent?

Do you believe Christians are justified in doing violence toward those who provide ab$rtions?

    Peace to you

Yikes, what makes you think that you are physically armed with Scripture? That is illogical and nonsensical.
