    The Dems know they don't have the Senate votes to find Trump guilty, so why are they continuing the impeachment process? Because they're hoping to smear him so badly that he won't be re-elected. That's the best they can hope for.

    However, I don't believe it'll work. I believe it'll have the OPPOSITE effect. Truthfully, the Dems' only hope is to field a POTUS candidate capable of defeating him. Right now, there are NONE in the current gang of clowns & one-trick ponies.

    I still believe the Dems are dooming their hold on the House by continuing the impeachment process. Most of the public couldn't care less about the Russian or Ukrainian affairs,

    We must remember the POTUS has legal authority to use foreign aid as a leverage tool, and most of them in the past have done just that. I pointed out the examples of FDR doing it during WW2. (I am opposed to ANY foreign aid long as there's ONE involuntarily-homeless American veteran in the land!) And one person's "abuse of power" may be another person's "take decisive action"!
