    College Football • Liberty University Falls to Brigham Young University 31-24

    "Just after playing 60 minutes of competitive football, Liberty and Brigham Young University players met at midfield...to pray. BYU head football coach Kalani Sitake said of the moment, 'It was nice to share the field and then have a word of prayer in the middle of the field with them. I thought that was really special'."

    "Founded in 1875, BYU has created a culture of faith and a football fanbase that stretches across the country. Liberty University was established in 1971 and hopes to do the same, looking at BYU as a role model. Liberty athletic director Ian McCaw said, “BYU is very much a program that we aspire towards as a faith-based school that’s had tremendous success'."

    Is this not fellowship with deceitful works of darkness?

    Rather than guidance from above, the consultancy with the deceivers is not to be embarrassed.

    I find that 2nd paragraph in the OP a lot more troubling than two athletic teams praying together right after the game.

    It was written by LDS. As a Liberty Alumni I can tell you it is absolutely not true.

    Last time I checked, Mormons are not Christian, they are a cult. What fellowship has light with darkness?

    That was the point of my statement, also.

    Why is it that the Christians even have such industry with the world?

    Is it of any value that Christ is not exalted but people, programs, and pride are trophies?

    I am waiting for someday when an athlete upon receiving a trophy will immediately cast it down, declare themself as no better than any man, openly confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of all praise and honor, and it is sinful such claims should be made of any human.
