A different take on a very famous testimony (edited for general audiences):

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam: Citizen, did you shoot the armed perpetrator?!

Judge: You don't have to answer that question

Armed American Citizen: I'll answer the question. You want answers?

    Northam: I think I'm entitled!

    Citizen: You want answers?!

    Northam: I want the truth!

Citizen: You can't handle the truth! Governor, we live in a world that has evil, and evil has to be resisted by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Mayor De Blasio? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for the Texas church shooter and you curse America’s armed citizens. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that the church shooter’s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at Democrat rallies, you want me armed. You need me armed. We use words like "rights", "constitution", "self-defense". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that patriots died for, and then questions the purpose for which they died! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and be prepared. Either way, I don't give a rip what you think you are entitled to!

Northam: Did you shoot the armed perpetrator?

Citizen: I defended my lives and the lives of others—-

Northam: Did you order shoot the armed perpetrator??

Citizen: YOU BET YOUR LIFE I DID!![IMG]

Interesting. So shooting an armed perpetrator is the same as ordering the cold-blooded murder of an innocent man. Maybe you should re-evaluate your meme.
