So, it really boils down to what you CHOOSE to believe; IE how you interpret the afore-mentioned EVIDENCE.
The only real difference in a Christian belief & that of a non-Christian is, a Christian will state upfront that the word of God takes precedence over science.
I once read that some scientist back in the beginning of the train era stated that a person would suffocate if they moved over (40??) MPH. (Sounds utterly asinine today, but back then —)
Science is wonderful, but it’s not perfect, and is routinely up-dated.

 

This post puzzles me not a little. What is the evidence for the notion that creative evidence was destroyed in the "Big Bang"? In any case, it sounds like tergiversation, and you have not directly responded to my inquiry regarding your stance on creation.

Our universe contains matter-engergy-space-time, all created in the beginning. But there is also information, life, mind, spirit, not all of which lend themselves to scientific inquiry. A what would be woefully inadequate to account for these. Transcendance is a necessary reference even for scientific pursuit. Science is not its own basis. There must be a basic faith that science can be meaningfully pursued.
