    And where in the NIV New Testament does any text say that elders and pastors are, or might be women? Go to the Pastoral Epistles to back up your claim.

    The NIV reads "deacon", not "apostle".

    Perhaps you are referring to "junia" in Roman's 16:7?

    While I liked the HCSB, they translated that word in a haphazard manner.

    I used to prefer the CSB to the NIV. But I've since concluded the CSB is not what it claims to be (in my opinion).

    if you want readibility, use the Esv, for studies, use nas/Nkjv!

    Claims to not be that much into gender inclusive readings, yet seems to be same as the Niv 2011!

    ESV for readability?! For sheer awkwardness and inelegance of style it deserves one star. The NLT is worthy of Bible studies with other helps.

    They claim to be more literal/word for word/functional equivalence, but they're really not.
