    Apocrypha & NRSV together, 99% of the time means Catholic.

    I don't think it would be anywhere close to that much. NRSV + apocrypha can mean ecumenical, liberal, academic, or secular (or a combination of these). Yes, Catholics are often involved, but it wouldn't necessarily be a "Catholic" bible.

    Now, if it were a New American Bible translation, then that would almost certainly mean Catholic.

    I can't confirm regarding the current edition, but I used a previous edition of the Access Bible for a college course. It was an "accessible" study Bible from a generally mainline/liberal viewpoint, with more of an academic feel than a devotional feel, from what I can remember.

    You think so? It makes me think Oxford Annotated, which makes me think secular schools teaching religion classes.
