Troubled Times

    My Mom passed away last Sunday and I was sadly building her urn in the shop today as she requested that I do. I then came into the house and got a call from the hospital that my daughter was hit by a car while delivering food in a rough part of town. She was knocked unconscious and has an open wound on her elbow and road rash but all her tests are coming back good and she is speaking now. My Mom was suffering and in my sadness I feel relieved that has ended and I'm so thankful that my daughter wasn't hurt worse but I'm feeling battered down and could use some prayer.

    "When it rains, it pours". Just said a little prayer for you all, glad that her tests are good so far. Hang in there. "This too will pass". Keep us posted on your daughter. :)

    Thanks. My Daughter, Sharlee, is being released from the hospital today, pretty bruised up and I'm bringing her home for a while. Can't help to wonder if my mother is up there watching out for us...

    It turns out my daughter was hit by a truck rather than a car. I had her up walking today but she had some nausea. Bruises and scrapes all over her body, both sides, front and back, both knees and elbows, 3 on her head - both sides and top, but not one broken bone or serious internal injury. Feeling blessed...

    I am so sorry about your mother. Even if we find relief for the end of their suffering - it still hurts.

    I'll be in prayer for your daughter and for you.
