There is no salvation outside of Christ. The church is irrelevant in salvation, as the church is composed of those already "in Christ". </font>
SAVED? Seems according to scripture, you are SAVED to the kingdom. The 1000 yr period of rest. What happens after that? How many books are opened? </font>
You are SAVED from hell, and eternal torment, and this only in Christ, not in a church. I'm not sure what you mean we are "saved to the kingdom".

Its another one of those people who believe to be eternally saved and to go to heaven is different from being saved "to the kingdom"... some sort of millenium thing...

Ive seen three different ones on here so far that believe that way.

    Church meaning body of Christ!

    Not some organization.

There was a time when I felt the Catholic church were true and wished it weren't, now I find myself wishing it were true and fearing it isn't.
    Progress?

If you are referring to an organization as MFM just mentioned then no. However if you mean Church=family of God then yes I amen that statement.

Christ is Savior of the body (Eph 5:23), and the body is the church (Eph 1:22-23), therefore Christ is Savior of the church.

The Lord adds the saved to the church (Acts 2:47), therefore, ALL the saved are in the church, or should I say, make up the church.

One cannot be saved and outside of the church. If that were true, then Jesus isn't doing His job (Acts 2:47).

    Sorry, Nate. You're wrong.

There is MOST DEFINITELY salvation outside the Catholic Church.

Ask any Catholic and they will tell you this. It's only some Protestants who believe otherwise.

    So, what's your answer?

Do you believe there is salvation outside the Catholic church?

Many understand this in only a materialistic manner. That the church is composed of people (Acts 2:47), has offices (Eph.4:11) (1Tim.3:1,8) and so believe that the entrance into this physical organization is water baptism, and the passages that speak of baptism 'into' must mean physical baptism (Rom.6:1-4) (Gal.3:27) (Col.2:11-12).

There is no salvation outside of election. God can save anyone based on Christ's merit. the details are God's problem.

You must be water baptized by the authority of Jesus to have your sins washed away. Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Col 2:12.

When Jesus and His immediate disciples were water baptizing His converts, John the Baptist was water baptizing his. They all were baptizing the converts with the baptism of repentance. (Mt.3:11) (Mk.1:4)

It is noticeable that on and after the day of Pentecost that the only one's needing to be re-baptized were the converts of John the Baptist. (Acts 18:25, 19:1-5)

Acts 22:16 is a figure of speech and is a parallel passage to 1Pet.3:21

They both are an appeal to God for a good conscience.

Christ's disciples were only baptized by John according to scripture. No indication at all that they were rebaptized.
