    Good evening again -

I like the reading in Exodus tonight. Exodus 35:21 "And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments."

This is how it should be with God's people. If you can...DO!

I usually do not comment on Psalms but this is a very good passage for these times. The events of September 11th fit well with this scripture.

In Acts from last jnight and tonight, we see that an unruly mob of Jews is so incensed at Paul's preaching of the gospel that they riot and try to kill Paul. The Roman sentries save Paul's life by taking him prisoner and Paul asks to speak. He retells his conversion story and the mob becomes even more ruthless. Just as with Christ and Pilate, the Romans seek to appease the anger of the crowd by flogging Paul. Once again, we see what an effective choice Paul was in that he has Roman citizenship. This fact saves his back and possibly his life.
Why do you suppose Paul felt it necessary to tell his testimony? Why would it incense the people further?

    May God bless you

    - Clint

    Dear Clint,

I want to thank you for keeping up with posting daily readings, usually when I get around to doing it you long since have me beat.

I'm sorry I have not been posting more. With a second job and school I've been working insane hours (I'm usually out the door by 7:30 and don't get back til past 11)

Again thank you for all of your hard work.

    UNP
    Adam
