    Keep your wits about you and don't be too eager to brandish a weapon. Get a carry permit and find something that suits your purpose. For me, I found that a snub nose 38 special revolver fits nicely in my front pants pocket.

    If you ever have to use your weapon, keep a clear head and be sure you have a clear shot, because you are responsible for what comes out of the barrel and responsible for whatever or whomever it hits.

    Don't get one if you are an easily excitable hot head .
