xlsdraw, your concern should be for the Church, not American politicians. If America is failing, it's because the Church is failing, not because we don't have Christians in office. We rather need the Church to become wiser about who they vote for.

Don't vote for Christians, per se, vote for men/women with biblical values on governing.

I'm perfectly content with what God is doing. And it is not your place to attempt to direct my concerns. That is the Holy Spirit's job and He does it very well.

Hmm. But didn't you just direct my concerns? That sword cuts both ways.

For thirty days, no dancing of jigs until she's safely in her grave. No matter how much she deserves a rendition of "The Irish Washerwoman."

The idea is not necessarily Christians on the court but that God places people there and restrains them from doing evil things which allow us to live quiet and peaceful lives. When bad people have the authority, and they are without restraint, this does not make for peaceful living for Christians.

    1 Timothy 2
    New King James Version

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior

Yeah well, apparently, God’s judgment was not to bless RBG with her dying wish to be replaced by a Leftist nomination.

RIP to the 30 million babies lost in the last several decades. Their lives have not been so honored, but I grieve for them today & every day. Blessed innocents.

A definite understatement. My original post was moved but seems to have lost its link in the process.

The HuffPost obit opens with this:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the liberal icon who had served on the Supreme Court since 1993 and who crusaded for women’s rights before that, died on Friday at the age of 87.
