    No, God's ability is not in question. This is a diversion you continue to run back to rather than discussing details of what God has done and is doing, according to what he laid down in the Scripture.

    IF He still does do that, would be for extraordinary demands, and not a coomon gift given!
    Missionary work would be perhaps only time would be granting that gift, as n o need for it now in local assemblies!

    Yes, but the Lord might still be in rate circumstances using those sign gifts for the cause of the Gospel of Christ in lands closed off until now, but not the norm for sure!

    o ye of little faith! I note that the greater majority of Reformed have problems with the Spiritual Gifts and Miracles, like healings. etc. It has more to do with the mindset than what the Bible actually says. Very much like teachings like the Death of Christ, limited by some due to their theology, even though the Bible is very much against this!

    so, if God were to raise a dead person today, the Reformed/Calvinsits will probably say it was the devil! Such is the warped theology of some!

    You can be wrong and think your view is right. We simply do not believe the same words for the words of God in this case. That is really what it amounts to. I will side with Dr. Pickering on this reading "disciples" in this case rather than your view.

    The purpose of the tongues and sign gifts has been fulfilled and accomplished, not needed for today, as we have the sure word from God to us now in the scriptures!

    We know that there has been do far NO documented and proverb case of such ever happening, despite the word of faith and NAR claiming it for decades now!
