    President Donald Trump released a video pleading with his supporters to leave the U.S. Capitol peacefully and return to their homes. Trump supporters protesting the election results had breached the Capitol and clashed with police on Wednesday, prompting lockdowns, evacuations, and riot response measures.

    “I know your pain, I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side, but you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law [enforcement]. We don’t want anybody hurt,” Trump said in a video posted to Twitter and Facebook, although it was later removed from Facebook.

    President Donald Trump and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., condemned violence on Wednesday after supporters of the president stormed the U.S. Capitol.

    “This is wrong and not who we are,” Trump Jr. posted to Twitter, minutes before his father offered condemnation. “Be peaceful and use your 1st Amendment rights, but don’t start acting like the other side. We have a country to save and this doesn’t help anyone.”

    President Donald Trump called on the National Guard to help quell the violence at the Capitol after rioting broke out against members of Congress trying to certify the results of the


    White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced through her official social media account on Wednesday.

    "At President @realDonaldTrump's direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services," said McEnany.

    Looks like it worked. The support Trump had in Congress to challenge the electors votes seem to be declining because of those traitors.

    You're evidently living in a different era. Join reality. If it were BLM or Antifa, there would have been looting, vandalism, and arson, and major physical violence against the police, with no repercussions, except for high praise from the Dems and their MSM for their "mostly peaceful" protest.

    It was the MAGA cult looting, vandalizing, and being violent against police and lawmakers. But it's a great day. We get to see the end of the Trump presidency, the end of a Republican-led Senate, the disgrace that is MAGA, the suspending of Trump's Twitter account, and the impending arrests and charges against Trump supporters. Glad to a Georgian and proud to be an American. :D

    If those people were blacks then your assumption would be then that they are rioters correct? Of course it is. However since they are white and trump supporters, then they are looked at as mere protesters.
