What is perceived and discerned through your own words is that even you are used by the same lying spirit that you invoked in your posts, and he inspired you to write the above liar content. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, false witness, blasphemies, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts-Matt.15:v.19.

Remember: Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in this Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matt. 12:v.36-37
    All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
but the Lord GOD- the Word- weighs the spirits-Prov. 16:v.2. You were weighed in the balances, and are found wanting.

    Be careful or get ready

Oh you are mixing Scriptures to justify the lies you have sowed.

    Be careful or get ready

    Wow! God? Is that...You?

And all this time I thought I was just eating with unwashed hands, although I do understand the Lord's frustration with Peter. I think it's the blue font color.

Well, I no doubt deserve a shoe shine kit at the judgment seat of Christ with Him pointing to a sign that says, "Outer Darkness 500 miles," although I do strive to do Philippians 2:12-18, not only to receive an overcomer promise per Rev 2-3, but mostly to have a closer relationship with the Lord now and in eternity.

Especially when there's a two by four stuck in them.

That must have hurt your fingers.

You know, the old governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, had a tag line he used on a Discovery Channel show he once hosted; "You Won't Believe What You Don't Know."

Check your phone messages. I'm pretty sure the Kettle left you one.

False and unbiblical? Sorry, no; this might be the time to give your position a careful review. The Man Christ Jesus is declared in the Bible to be worthy of worship; Revelation 5:12 specifically cites Jesus' humanity ("the Lamb that was slain"), not His deity. This is not "trading" an image, it is respecting, admiring, and glorifying the image and the work the Lord Jesus took upon Himself as a man (Philippians 2). "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).

Where does Scripture support your claim that Jesus could only be worshiped as God, and not as the uniquely born Son of God? Matthew 2:2 and Hebrews 1:6 certainly indicate otherwise. Philippians 2:7-11 explicitly states that God has given Jesus a name above every name, at which every knee will bow, because of faithfulness and obedience in His humanity reflecting the Father's glory.

Are you saying here that the "only begotten Son" is by virtue of His earthly birth?

Yes, most certainly. Hebrews 1:5, Acts 13:33, John 3:16.

It's really very simple. The testimony of Scriptures is that it is impossible for God to lie. And that is the foundation of our hope for Salvation. Hebrews 6:18-19

Jesus is the Truth. He isn't just about the truth, as if a standard of truth exists apart and independent of Him, as it does us. He is the Truth. And if it were possible for Christ to not be the Truth, then I guess one could say that Jesus could lie.

The arguments against this come from one root--well...two. The main one, and the most dangerous, is the lack of faith in what the Spirit has said in a straightforward and unmistakable manner. The other is the mistaken notion of what it means to become a man, and to live under the law and to be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses (versus our corruption). It's the idea that temptation can have no power if one cannot covet, and that is a grave error.

If one merely trusted the Apostle to be telling us the truth when He said it is impossible for God to lie, one would start by re-evaluating his notions of human nature and what it means to be tempted. And then the argument is over.

Anyway. I'm done with this argument for now.

Yeah, I get it. It's a very pagan notion.

We know of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost...Who was the Son before He became the Son? He was and is eternally the Only Begotten of the Father. And He sent His only begotten into the world. 1 John 4:9

He was the Word (John 1:1). He was begotten when He became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). The offering of His begotten flesh is an essential part of our salvation (Hebrews 10:5, 10, 20). May I suggest reflecting on those verses carefully and prayerfully.

Now or when He lived on earth (Philippians 2:7)?

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19). Yet Jesus calls Himself the Son of Man, and He certainly was a man as well as God.

Let's agree that God does not lie, and He does not change His mind (repent). In John chapter 7 Jesus tells His brothers He is NOT going up to Jerusalem for the Feast of Booths (John 7:8-9). But then He DOES go (John 7:10). Did He lie, or did He change His mind? Either way, what do you do with Numbers 23:19?

Jesus is fully God, and He also has a body. Does the Father or the Spirit have a body? Jesus is everything they are, plus humanity. Right?

No man hath seen God at any time,
    the only begotten Son,
which is in the bosom of the Father,
    he hath declared him.
    John 1:18

    And without controversy
great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh.
    justified in the Spirit,
    seen of angels,
    preached to the Gentiles,
    believed on in the world,
    received up into glory.
    1 Timothy 3:16

He is not more then the Father or Holy Spirit, as all 3 are equally God!
