Jesus Christ DID not ever sin, that's declared in Scripture. "Could not" is your unsupported opinion.

Could Jesus have asked His Father to send twelve legions of angels and deliver Him from arrest and crucifixion (Matthew 26:53), yes or no? Did Jesus do so, yes or no?

Could not = IMPOSSIBLE as Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man but One Person The God-Man Who is INVINCIBLE

Caps lock doesn't add any weight to your opinion, and you didn't answer my question about Matthew 26:53.

Jesus is fully God but He was delivered over to death (Romans 4:25). Jesus said, "I am the life" (John 14:6) but He died. Clearly His deity did not prevent the full experience and full function of His humanity, nor was His human will limited by His divine identity.

You evidently think your insight into Jesus' unique nature is superior to the understanding of an archangel who dwelt in the heavenly throne room of God before time began, one declared to be the highest and greatest and wisest of all the creatures God ever created, and one who is now the god of this entire world, reigning over principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this age; Satan, who spent forty days in the wilderness tempting Jesus to sin.

Perhaps the devil should have checked with you first and saved himself the trouble.

Matthew 26:53, two questions (#41), yes or no? Feel free to capitalize your answers.

That falls under the philosophical umbrella. Same question as "Could God make a rock so big He could not pick it up?".

Not at all. Jesus changed His mind. Human beings do that. It's not intrinsically a sin.

Only if you haven't been following the argument in these three threads. Jesus is able to do things God does not do.

Dealing with what God "can not" do is a purely philosophical question.

I'm asking you. You say Jesus "could not" sin. Jesus said He could call on twelve legions of angels to deliver Him (Matthew 26:53), in direct violation of the Father's will (Luke 22:42). Jesus says He could, you say He couldn't.

    So who should we believe?

You miss the entire point. Omnipotent and Can't. Reconcile those two.

We're not discussing omnipotence, we're discussing whether Jesus in His humanity could have chosen to sin.

    Easy peezy.
    Piece of cake.
    No sweat for Him.

But He sweat blood to prove it.

    And being in an
    AGONY
    he prayed more earnestly:
and his sweat was as it were
    great drops of blood
    falling down to the ground.
    Luke 22:44

Why go through the agony if He was using His divine nature on earth?

    Have we ever sweat blood?

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood striving against sin.
    Hebrews 12:4

    No, we have given in.

But we have the Holy Spirit and the mind of Christ.

    In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth,
    the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed,
ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
    Ephesians 1:14

...But we have the mind of Christ.
    1 Corinthians 2:16

    Shame on us, eh?

As humans we choose the wrong when the chips are down.
But He chose for us because He was using His divine nature?
No, because He wanted to save humanity He chose not to sin
because He was/is a man who did not want to sin.

He did not want to die.

... with strong crying and tears unto him
that was able to save him from death,...
    Hebrews 5:7
    (ty kyredneck)

He is our priest and mediator because as a man He chose chose not to use His divinity but to solely rely on the Holy Spirit and the Father, giving us an example, i.e., rely on God for everything.

Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek:
    Hebrews 7:21

    For there is one God,
and one mediator between God and men,
    the man Christ Jesus;
    1 Timothy 2:5

For even hereunto were ye called:
because Christ also suffered for us,
    leaving us an example,
that ye should follow his steps:
    1 Peter 2:21

He is showing that His Kingdom is not of this world, and should He need to, which He did not, need any help, He has the whole Angelic Hosts at His Command. The fact is, that He did not! Your theology is moot!

can you explain, how Jesus was able in 33 years, not to give into temptation ONCE? How many days do you think that the most godly person can go without sinning? The Bible says of Job, "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil." (1:1). Yet this same man says, "“I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman." (31:1). In Acts 13:22, we read of the great King David, "I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’". We know what David got up to! How did Jesus do it, without even lusting after a beautiful woman, just the one time?
