"You know, we're at a crossroads as a nation," Glaude said. "It's easy for us to place all of the blame on Donald Trump. He makes it easy for us, you know? He does. But there were 75, 74-plus million people who voted for him. Selfishness, greed, you know, they run rampant across the land, but you know, there's something that President-elect Biden said: 'To heal is to remember. To heal is to remember.'

"So not only do we have to remember our dead, we have to remember what brought us to this moment, what got us here. And it's not just Donald Trump. It's not just him. And that honestly will help us walk the path that we need to walk, I hope," Glaude continued.

MSNBC contributor compares Biden to God, suggests Trump voters should be blamed for COVID deaths

That’s an incredible reach Rev. Always trying to find a way to blame the other side. When one is obsessed with politics and ties so much of their self identity into it, objectivity and credibility suffer. Having seen you harping on the fact that Trump bares no blame, watching you try to shoehorn some random quote from a dude that nobody even know as a “clear” tie into the Capitol riots is pretty surreal.

People will always look, and find, "evidence" to support their views. Pelosi and Clinton are back on the "Russian" propaganda even though it was disproven time and time again. The "hard core" Democrats will believe things about Trump that are not true (Trump is a racist, Putin influenced Trump, etc.) and the "hard core" Trump supporters will believe things that are not true as well (that Trump "won" the election, that those who attacked the Capitol were not really Trump supporters, that Pence could have stopped the transfer of power, etc.).

The same is true with theology. A Calvinist will always read Scripture as a Calvinist and an Arminian will always read Scripture as an Arminian. Each will choose teachers who advocate their positions to strengthen and support their view rather than challenge it.

The idea that Trump bares no blame for Jan 6 is the same in validity as the idea that Trump was on the phone with Putin and following his instructions on Jan 6. People just like conspiracy theories as they help them hold on to a belief that they value. Truth has nothing to do with it, unfortunately.

If the Dems expressed regret for and repented of their role in devastating America, first under Obama-Biden, then under Trump, if they had not colluded to investigate and impeach Trump on false pretenses, if they accepted the fact that they have brought us to the brink through their riotous BLM/Antifa hordes, if they were not constantly viciously attacking those who don’t agree with them, if they had some decency to care and not politicize the pandemic, if they had any sense of tolerance and sanity to engage, perhaps we could enter into some coherent, profitable dialog about what the truth is.

Trump is guilty of giving millions some hope that things could be better. They will never forgive him that. The Dems and RINOs made sure it wouldn’t go beyond four years by orchestrating a stolen election. The notion that it was Trump’s fault a few frustrated people, with the help of agent provocateurs, went beyond the mandate to “peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard” is absurd. It would make sense to drain the swamp and impeach them all, but not to blame Trump. Which is why these hypocrites are actually planning to hold an unconstitutional impeachment trial for an out-of-office, twice-unconstitutionally impeached president.

Oh, that’s right. Trump is also guilty of exposing their corruption more than anyone before, surprising even seasoned observers. The swamp will hate him for it forever.

Is Trump perfect? No, far from it. He just looks that way standing next to them.

That’s a lot of renting and raving without much of a point. America isn’t destroyed. Cut the dramatics. We are fine.

No, it is not a fence at all (on my part). The fence riders are...well....you.

Where you believe that you can be faithful to the Kingdom of God AND be a part of the world powers (seeking to do Kingdom work but in worldly ways) I view it as a hard line (a real fence). I see the World as opposed to God, so I believe it is wrong to join with the World. Where you choose one "evil", I try not to choose evil at all.

You, bro, are the one on the fence. I hope other Christians will truly become "woke", that is woke to the gospel of Jesus Christ and allow the Church to be their voice rather than worldly politics.

Lord teach us to pray. Thy kingdom come.

And the seventh messenger did sound, and there came great voices in the heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of the world did become those of our Lord and of His Christ, and he shall reign to the ages of the ages!'

I guess technically we are to blame for the Covid deaths. We were killing the Chinese economy by looking out for ourselves like we should do. Those rats, colliding with their Democrat buddies, unleashed the China virus as an act of economic warfare. Biden surrendered to the Chinese rats.

People are tired of being talked about and to that way. They are tired of burning down cities over exaggerated descriptions of police actions. They are tired of the cancel culture. The stolen election was the last straw. Trump had nothing to do with it. They are completely to blame.

No, I got it. My response was more a general response not to you direct to you.
