    Much of what I read re: the debate(?) of science vs scripture is like a breath of fresh air; this comment, however was like a breath of "sweet smelling" fresh air. [​IMG]

    The light comes on. Mr. Galatian, I thought I was going to have an interesting time debating your posts until I viewed your profile.

    Why would a Catholic bother posting on a Baptist-Site? Do they not have Catholic bulletin boards where you can spread your theistic evolution?

    Baptists do not need a pope to tell us that we believe in the Bible and that evolution is or is not "accepted" by the church.

    I don't mean to be rude here, but I think you are debating in the wrong arena. :confused:

    Off-topic posts were erased. Phillip's post regarding Galatian was allowed to remain because Galatian often refers to "most Christians" and evidently means "Roman Catholics." Identifying his reasons for saying some of what he does is germaine to the discussion but it should stop here. This thread will be closed before noon EST today.
