    Just turned 75 on Saturday and didn't feel like celebrating... Lost my first Christian wife to Kidney Cancer in 2003 and I took another Christian wife in 2004... She developed Breast Cancer in 2015 and went through radiation and chemotherapy and now is cancer free... I been a caregiver all my life and discover just recently a large lump in my right breast... We both go to see the doctor today... I told the Lord that his child doesn't know what lies ahead and to send me a little comfort and he sent me this

    Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

    If its not asking to much could you see it in your heart to send up a little prayer for Brother Glen:Cry

    This news is a shock to me, and I can't even imagine how you must feel.
    I pray the Father grant you complete healing. I pray that He grants you strength as you go through this trial. I pray He surrounds you with the support you need during this hour. I pray our Father continue to keep you cradled in His arms, for "He careth for you".

    You know I love all you brethren and you are like family to me, sometimes dysfunctional but still family but the Big C Cancer won't let me be... But the Bigger C... CHRIST!... Will go with me... The fleshly man in me is about to pee his pants but the Spiritual Man!... Hallelujah!... Praise the LORD if I stay... Praise the LORD if I go... I know stay positive and I do... Then again I need to stick around to keep an eye on you all, not ready to join TC yet!... Brother Glen:D

    Thank you for that and a good friend of my wife told her to go the natural holistic route but if she did that she would be dead now... Before she underwent what she went through... We prayed and checked various resources and with people who had gone through the same, before she made her decision... She went through chemotherapy and radiation and is alive because of it... And has been Cancer free for 6 years... She is also the head of the Cancer, Care and Compassion Ministry at our church, because she made a vow to the Lord that it would be her mission to help others and he spared her... A member Earth, Wind and Fire a dear brother and friend on here's wife has benefited from that ministry... Brother Glen:)

    I worked with breast cancer for 2 1/2 years doing physical therapy rehabilitation training and will confirm that it pretty much never came out good for those who ignored Doctor's advice and went the holistic route. I am all for supplementing will healthy lifestyle changes and quick to put down the idea of a person's internet search in place of a specialized doctor's degree. Also, the bad sounding statistics related to men's breast cancer is due to the fact that they usually aren't even aware that this disease affects men and wait too long, but I suspect you having gone through what you did with your wife were/are aware of that possibility and should breast cancer be the diagnoses are therefore earlier than most. Prayers bro...

    TC unfortunately had Pancreatic Cancer and if you have a node in your chest... not PC so let’s just wait and see the actual cancer (if it is). Find out the type and the progression of it and the stage and the recommended treatment. Today they are providing oral medications which are less severe than traditional chemo and radiation kills a lot of cancer cells and reduces the size of tumors, a good thing.

    So I was already praying for your Pam & now you’re on my list. Also you know where I live. I love you brother, you were there for my Pam and I, allow me to be there for you!

    Steve... Just got back from the doctor and I kind of feel kind of unmanly to get a mammogram, so I changed it... This boob is going in for a boobogram:Laugh... Just got to set the appointment, which I will do soon and I'll let you all know what I find out... Yes men do get breast cancer and if it is cancer, hopefully I caught in time... Brother Glen:)

    Hmmm... if your DI could see you now :Laugh You may still have to go for a biopsy to get a substantive diagnosis and that ain’t fun. Listen, I’m praying for you Glen... please keep me apprised. Say hello to Pam, I’m sure she is worried.
