    John 21:9-11 tells us about the disciples catching 153 fish.
    A pastor friend of mine and I were talking about mega-churches. He said the this verse is a good example - of the size of a church. He went on to say that in mega churches - which often have multiple services - those who participate are basically professionals - singers, ect.
    In addition we mention, how many people like the mega-church because they can get lost in the crowd - and end up not have any positions in that local church.

    I never looked at it that way. Interesting. I always wondered how they found such great talent in their worship teams. I’m sure many are actually professionals. I once worked security at a large church when I was stationed in Alaska. I found myself treating it like a job and I often missed out on sitting with my family for the service. It became more of a job than a service to the church and for God.
