    Hebrews
    Chapter 8

For if that first covenant had been faultless,
then should no place have been sought for the second.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
    Not according to the covenant
that I made with their fathers in the day
    when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt;
because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind,
and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour,
and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me,
from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness,
and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old.
Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

In the 8th chapter of the Book of Hebrews
the author states the beginning of a NEW COVENANT and the end of the OLD COVENANT.
"In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old.
Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."

In this NEW COVENANT the author states:
"saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind,
and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God,
and they shall be to me a people".
    The author also states that
these people who God put in their hearts His laws "shall not teach every man his neighbour,
and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me,
from the least to the greatest".

    QUESTION 1:
Why is it this does not fit any of you?
Or any of the other Christians in this world.
    How do you explain it?

Why is the new covenant that you say you have with God
is not the same NEW COVENANT with God as recorded in Hebrews.

Is your question, why does the author of Hebrews not interpret the prophecy the way you want, or have you some other point in mind?

If you have to ask how much does it cost you can't afford it.

I never claimed that Hebrews does not apply to me. The verses about the old covenant and the children of "Israel" does not apply to me simply because I have never lived under the Old Covenant and attempted to offer a lamb according to the law of Moses at the Temple in Jerusalem to a Priest ... none of which have existed in my lifetime (except lambs, lambs still exist).

I have no need to explain a claim that is not true.

My turn, How do you explain this:

    John 3:14-18
    • [NKJV] "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
    • [NLT] "And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son."
    • [NIV] "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him." For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
    • [NASB] "And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes will have eternal life in Him. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

The red and black bolded letters.
    The accusations.
The insinuations that no one knows the truth but you.

AND most of all - your sentences in your OPs that only go half way across the page.

You give yourself away every single time.

The person in the third post, RighteousnessTemperance&, asked a simple, civil, and politely worded question about what it is you are exactly trying to say.

You gave your typical snarky non-answer.

No one here has time for this. This thread is closed.
