Of course. Because you arbitrarily supplied the word "justified"; despite the glaring fact that the world is set in contradistinction to the believers: our, ours.

Christ is the propitiation, or means of salvation, not only for our sins, but for the sins of the whole world.

First, posters have asserted "propitiation" means propitiated or saved. But then they must say the whole world refers to only those saved. Hogwash

Propitiation refers to the means of salvation, as Christ turns aside the wrath of God directed toward those placed into Him. Anyone God places into Him is thus saved from the wrath of God for their sins, past, present and future.

In the Mill, my wrists will be handcuffed to the Personification of ALL (without exception, mind you :):):Inlove:Inlove:Inlove ) TRUTH. "Not by works that I have done will I be with God's dear SON." That's good enough for me, how 'bout y'all? :D:D:D

The whole World of 1 Jn 2:2 simply because Christs is the propitiation of it, its a saved world, its a whole world saved from the wrath of God 1 Thess 1:10

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

    Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

For this world, Gods Wrath has been forever appeased by the Blood of Christ !

People need to be aware that the words 'the sins of' do not appear in any ancient Greek manuscript, and SFAIK not in any Latin one either. The NKJV rightly omits the words altogether, while the KNV and NASB place them in italics to show that they are additions to the text. The world cannot sin. It is the people in it who do that.
