    GOD THE FATHER:

“But God led the people about, by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea: and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt” (Exodus 13:18)

“And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not”…“And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes have not worn out upon you, and your shoes have not worn out upon your foot. You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink: that you might know that I am the LORD your God” (Deuteronomy 8:2; 29:5-6)

“And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of bondage; and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice.’” (Judges 6:7-10)

Here we read of God the Father, Who led the Children of Israel out of Egypt, and in the wilderness, and to the Promised Land.

    GOD THE SON:

“Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions: for My Name is in Him. But if you shall indeed obey His voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto your adversaries. For My Angel shall go before you, and bring you in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. (Exodus 23:20-23)

Then the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said: “I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you. And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this? Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’ ” So it was, when the Angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voices and wept.” (Judges 2:1-4)

It is clear that The Angel of the Lord, Who is the pre Incarnational Lord Jesus Christ, Who went before the Children of Israel, to lead them out of Egypt, and take the to the Promised Land. The language of Judges 2, when used for “The Angel of the Lord”, should be compared with that of chapter 6, where it is used for “The Lord you God”. All this is true of Someone Who is Almighty God.

    GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT:

“But they rebelled, and grieved His Holy Spirit: therefore He was turned to be their enemy, and Himself fought against them. Then He remembered the days of old, Moses and His people, saying , Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? where is He that put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them? that caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? that divided the waters before them, to make Himself an everlasting Name? that led them through the depths, as a horse in the wilderness, so that they stumbled not? As the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Yahweh caused them to rest; so didst thou lead thy people, to make Thyself a Glorious Name.” (Isaiah 63:11-14)

The words “caused them to rest”, in the Hebrew is, “תְּנִיחֶנּוּ”, which is the feminine, singular, and refers to, “רוּחַ” (the Spirit), literally, “she gave them rest”, which is a grammatical agreement of gender, and nothing to do with the Holy Spirit being a “female”.

Here we have God the Holy Spirit as the One Who led the Children of Israel out of Egypt, and in the wilderness for the 40 years.

The Children of Israel “rebelled and grieved” the Holy Spirit. Then the Holy Spirit is the One Who leads them, and parts the Red Sea for them to cross. It is the Holy Spirit Who also led them to enter their rest in the Promised Land. All of which was done by God the Father, and God the Son. How can anyone teach that the Holy Spirit is “impersonal”? The passage in Isaiah 63 shows beyond any doubt, that the Holy Spirit is Almighty God.

It is very clear, that we have The Three “Persons” of the Holy Trinity, Who are actively involved in the Exodus of the Children of Israel, out of the Land of Egypt, through the 40 years they wandered in the wilderness, and took them to the Promised Land.

I love finding things in the Scriptures that I had never seen before. Okay, in this case, I love it that @SavedByGrace has revealed something that I had never seen.
