A New Study Shows, Again, That Hydroxychloroquine Works

For Fauci, by denying treatments for Covid that worked and plenty of others went along with him, doomed hundreds of thousands around the world to a painful covid death.

Observational Study on 255 Mechanically Ventilated Covid Patients at the Beginning of the USA Pandemic

This is a pre-print (meaning it has not undergone peer review) observational study which is one of the lowest forms of scientific evidence just above anecdote. It is also a small study of 255 patients on ventilators.

It looks like all the patients got HCQ+AZM but some got a higher dose than others. It should be noted that 78% of the patients were dead within 90 days which is not surprising given they were severe enough to need ventilators.

The interesting finding was that those who got the higher dose of HCQ did a lot better than those who got the lower dose.

Whether this is significant or not does require stats and analysis that are missing from this preprint. And it needs to be kept in mind that observational studies are considered low quality studies because of high levels of bias that are introduced in determining which patients go into which groups.

 

False accusations without evidence is slander.

What we do have evidence of is that Trump does have a financial interest in Sanofi, the producer of Plaquenil, the branded version of HCQ. That is likely not the reason he promoted HCQ because his shares are small and indirect. He was just trying to sell false hope, something he is very good at doing. He needed his followers to think he knew what he was doing to win an election and stay in power.

You have not provided any evidence that any of those you accuse have a financial interest in any covid19 treatments.

 

I’ve seen a lot of these types of posts in my social media circles and you have to appreciate that the same people claiming the vaccines were rushed through are ready to suck down hydroxychloroquine with a fraction of the scientific data available for it. God help us all if we get a pandemic that is worse than COVID-19 in the near future.

 

Scary HCQ, not tested enough for this application, but it’s good as regular weekly treatment for the military to keep other stuff at bay for years & years & years. Seems like there was no covid problem in areas of Africa where is it taken like vitamins. It was highly successful for Drs. here who were able to use it. It must be available to take early on. Why isn’t it?
