    The ARDA family tree suggests that all Free Will Baptists in America came out of the Particular/Regular Baptists. Though the early history of Free Will Baptists in America is hard to sort out, it seems that some General Baptists came from England to America, that some of them survived the takeover of the missionaries from the Philadelphia Association, and that at least some of the Paul Palmer faction of Free Will Baptists were a remnant of those General Baptists.
