Thank you for all you do to push back against the arrogant ignorance that several posters spread in this forum about the COVID-19 virus and the vaccines.

Nothing catches God by surprise - no one dies "before their time", no matter how young. The sooner people who claim to be Christians accept the absolute sovereignty of God, the better off they will be.

Lamentations 3:38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that good and bad come?

Isaiah 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on what God has purposed.

Everybody is a threat to the unvaccinated. They are the most at risk - the most likely to have serious illnesses due to covid and the ones most likely to spread covid.

My wife who has a good friend are at odds on vaccinations... So at odds, they stopped communicating... My wife at 77 and me at 75 have been fully vaccinated and today I got my flu shot... I have watched this battle and from my vantage point, this will split churches more than false doctrine ever could... When people ask me... Have you be vaccinate?... I HAVE!... End Of Discussion!!!... Brother Glen:)

The ones most likely to spread the variant are the vaccinated should they once again get covid.

So sad. Used to be that folks could disagree, even vehemently, and still be good friends. One of my best friends at work was a Oneness Pentecostal and we pretty much totally disagreed on spiritual matters but we were still good friends.

Other than work nobody has asked me. I think k it is a personal choice. But I have as well.

I don't see it as splitting churches around here. Most were getting vaccinated simply to protect other people (people my age still think it won't be bad for us).

Yes, tyranny, murder and deception are causes worthy of splitting a church, if necessary. The incivility of the vaccine despots divide us with good reason, clarifying the boundaries of our spiritual household.

Thank you very much for sharing this. I have a few reservations about what I read at the first go-through, but a lot of it is right on target. It may sound selfish but I am thankful that I am retired and do not have some ill-conceived, unconstitutional mandate hanging over my head.

Like many here, I am tired of arguing about it, but always willing to discuss with the willing. And this is a topic that needs constant study and sifting.

I think you hit the nail on the head for many. The problem for a lot of people has less to do with the vaccine and more to do with being told they need a vaccine (especially by the government).

Exactly. Just let us all do our research and then act on it.

This has been my argument. Each person has the responsibility for their own health. No other person has the right (talking about adults) to make health decisions for other people.

The part where I disagree with many on this board is I also believe an employer has the right to set conditions of employment (and the employee has the right to decide whether to be employed).

I would disagree if the federal government mandated vaccines (beyond employments under its control). I also disagree with the federal government mandating tests for covid.

But I equally disagree that people should dictate to the employer what to do beyond letting their patronage determine the business practices (I am a capitalist).

So it can be a touchy subject. If I owned a business and decided for the safety of my business I would require my employees to be vaccinated then that should be my right (immunizations are not covered under HIPPA). If I lose customers and employees then that is the consequences of my decisions.

At the same time I realize some employees see employment with my company as a right.

I wonder who Mr. Powell got it from? Maybe an unvaxxed 3 year old great grandchild.

I agree. The very reason one would not need a vaccine. The sovereignty of God,

I wonder at who's behest they are doing so? I wonder if it comes with any incentives, and or threat?

    Thoughts to ponder.

I am a college football fan. I find it odd that this year there have been no forfeits this year. Very few players missing games. The team I pull for had to play a couple of games last year with less than 50 players.

Vaxed or unvaxed you can get and transmit c19.

I wonder if it is because, if 85% of the team is vaxed we will not give the bogus test? How many positives would there be if given the same test as last year in the same manner?

Who believes it is about the health of the people?

I don't know. Mr. Powell, unfortunately, had a few health issues which required medical treatment. He could have caught it in a hospital. Or perhaps at his home.

Children are definitely a concern as covid has been on the rise in children. But I don't think we know where he got covid. It could have simply been in a store.

They ate doing it for their own interests. Private companies are not mandated to require a vaccination. My company does because it wants to maintain a DOE contract and because we have list many employees (unvaccinated) over the past year. Those who have been vaccinated recovered quickly and were able to return to work.

But the anti-covid-vaxers are just socialists when it comes to private ownership of businesses. They are as un-American as you can get.
