    For the purposes of this scenario I am assuming that John McCain runs for president in 2008 but is denied the GOP nomination by the cultural and other conservatives who don't trust him. So he decides to run as an independent and convinces Joe Liberman, who is out of sync with his party over the war in Iraq/war on terror, to join him as his running mate.

    How would you vote if this is the line-up?

    I think John McCain can win the GOP nomination. He is pro-life and should be acceptable to cultural conservatives.

    Right now, I would not vote for any of the choices listed. It isn't gonna matter anyway. Hillary is gonna win no matter what.

    As much as John Wayne McCain and Joe Lieberman seem to buck the system...i don't see either one of them leaving their party behind.

    As for the GOP, i wouldn't suggest Allen too quickly. Mitt Romney may be a strong challenge...in spite of his LDS church membership.

    good poll either way.

    And Hillary has a snowball's chance of ever getting back into the White House by anything other than an official presidential invitation.

    Can't Vote in that poll, I have to write in Pat Buchanan.

    Maybe he could run in the Nazi Party? At least that way the Press would portray him accurately.

    My way of thinking is, let Hillary have it. I think the damage done to the Leftists in the USA would never be reparable. Plus, four years of great material for Rush and Hannity.

    How bout a constitutional amendment for foreigners to become president. Arnold has done such a bang up job in CA.

    What percentage of women will not vote for the first woman candidate for President, being Mrs. Clinton?

    All the rest of voting men could vote for Senator Rick Santorium from Pennsylvania and he would still lose the election. First, because of my above statement plus the fact that Santorium is a Roman Catholic who believes in Pro-Life. Very few younger women in America will not want to keep the abortion law in vogue, per chance they need to access this medical procedure.

    Oh, and Santorium is raising funds already for his race in the Republican party. :D
