Is that a yes or no to the question, does God join two men together in one flesh?

Marriage doesn't involve sex in scripture. Are you saying today's extreme sinners who marry are not sinning because God doesn't recognize it?

Would you advise a gay 'couple' to get a divorce? Why or why not?

If a couple are happy - I would never recommend a divorce.
The only way I would always recommend a divorce is if a "couple" are h0mose/ual

I would advise a divorced and remarried couple to separate. Also a gay husband and wife of the same sex.

“And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” Matthew 19:29 (KJV 1900)

A tacit admission that God hath not joined together a couple of the same sex, for it is written, What God hath joined together, let no man put asunder. With no joining there is no marriage.

Also, put away the lying terminology. A man CANNOT be a wife. Neither can a woman be an husband.

It would be people God had not joined together, but wicked people instead. And to repent they would need to separate.

Why is it so hard for you to say the truth of the matter is that two of the same sex are not married, despite government sanction?

I don't mean your feelings. I mean as surely as 2 and 2 cannot be three or five, that individuals of the same gender are not married?

Legally they are married. Weather we like it or not. Now, that does not mean that it is approved of God.
Just like when the govt says abortion is legal - but it is still murder in the eyes of God.

One other thing - you do know what I mean, when I say "when A couple is happy".

But are they married in truth? Are they one flesh?

    Yes or no?

    [Edit] Ah. Nevermind.

I'll answer. No. They are not married. See how easy that is when the only thing guiding one's thinking is the truth? It doesn't matter what a legislature says, and your mission 'whether you like it not' is to teach all all nations to obey Christ's commands.

Marriage is so basic, and you're riding the fence on it. I can only imagine two reasons: one, you're really that dense, or two, there's a cost involved in fulfilling your mission that you're not willing to pay.[/edit]

We are talking apples and oranges
You are talking about Gods laws
    I am giving State/Commonwealth law.

The Law says they are married.
Which is one good reason that we as Christians
    need to be politically involved!

And since you do not understand - at NO time, have I ever stated
that I agree with those immoral laws.

So it appears that you also agree with 1689 Dave - that any person who is divorced and remarried (or married to a divorced person) is living in sin
Am I correct in that assumption?

I am NOT riding the fence!!! I am simply telling it like it is!

Just to clarify since apparently you have trouble understanding - as a minister - I would NOT "marry" 2 people of the same gender.
and yes - I will preach and teach that such a "union" is NOT valid in Gods eyes.

No, but that's a discussion for another thread.

Is it just God's impression, or does God see things as they really are?

Two thoughts on that specific point:
    1. That would be a heck of a wrongful damage settlement if the original court decision is reversed (a real possibility as a violation of the “free speech” clause).
    2. One going into this with the intent to challenge the law and court could place their assets in a corporation or trust to insulate them from any “personal” judgements against you. The court cannot sell the house YOU do not own to pay a debt that you owe. (That is why ‘corporations’ exist … to create a wall between the personal assets and the corporation assets.)

I'll say what no one seems to want to say:

No, there is no such thing as gay marriage. It's sodomy. Not marriage. Saying, "In God's eyes," is a way of opening a back door to a supposed dichotomy that doesn't really exist.

It doesn't matter if one is an atheist, a pagan, or a Christian. No legislature, magistrate or monarch can legitimize a lie.
