I'm computer-illiterate, so tell me: how does this sound?

Thank you for all your answers and your
encouragement. I asked for some different
software than they were intending to install, so I
did not get the computer yesterday; probably
Wednesday. They were putting in the "home"
office stuff, and I wanted the professional.

    Can't wait to get it!

Wwell, they called me today and it is nno ready.
They said they could nnot get the programming
I required, requesting that I either go buy it myself
(which would have cost more) or that they put in
the "'home" version. I said no and I told them that
it was already over the original agreed budget and
well past the promised time. In otherr wods, get
on the stick, or I will take my business elsewhere.
I am not real happy about this.

It's amazing how much Microsoft charges for a box and nicer manual. Do you really need Access? If you don't need Access there's not much point in getting the Professional version over the Standard or Small Business Edition.

Here's a chart showing what each edition has:

Small Business edition isn't list but it is cheaper than Professional. I think SBE is the same as Standard except you have to buy it with a computer and it says Small Business Edition instead of Standard.

Thank you, Dual. I went to this site, wrote down
much of what was there, and did some research
on it as well as compared one computer there
which was similar to the one I ordered. My son
also got home from his vacation, so I was able to
    consult with him.

At this point, I am not sure what I will do. I need
to call the company making the computer and
talk to them. I may or may not take it.
