    A lost sinner remains dead in sins and trespasses,
    until being Quickened & Renewed by the Holy Spirit,
    and is thereby Spiritually Enabled to Answer the Effectual Call of God,
    by and through the Instrumentation of The WORD of GOD
    and to Embrace the Grace Offered and Conveyed in it;

    by The Power, that Raised up Christ from the Dead.

    i
    Eph. 1.19,20.

    19 "And what is the Exceeding Greatness of His Power
    to us-ward who believe, according to the Working of His Mighty Power,

    20 Which He Wrought in Christ, when He Raised Him from the Dead,
    and set Him at His Own Right Hand in the Heavenly Places,"

    All verses must agree with one another:

    Man by his fall into a state of sin

    hath wholly lost (d) all ability of Will,
    to any spiritual good accompanying salvation;

    so as a natural man, being altogether averse from that good, (e)
    and dead in Sin, is not able, by his own strength,
    to (f) convert himself; or to prepare himself thereunto.

    d Rom. 5.6. ch. 8.7.

    And its only those spiritually dead sinners that rose up together with Christ when He arose Eph 2:6
    6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

    That are quickened and renewed with that Life they have with Christ above. Thats their spiritual application in time, what they have already in the heavenlies with Christ because of their union with Him when He and they raised from the dead.

    They are able and do answer the call because they have been born anew from above. So its the born again person who believes the Gospel within their new heart and mind Spiritually.

    This is a good subject !

    I believe 1 Pet 1:3

    3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

    I believe this shows that those who Christ died for, were in union with Him
    representatively, as well as when He rose from the dead, and so they partake of His resurrection life for them, by giving them a new birth, hence they experience the power of His resurrection, being that they were were in union with Him, and as the Head was quickened from the dead, so shall it be with all His members of His Body.

    Notice Paul mentions the power of His resurrection Phil 3:10

    That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

    Thats the significance of His resurrection following His death for them He died for. Its impossible for anyone Christ died for, and rose again for, not to partake of His resurrection life for them, its a benefit of His saving work for them.
