You cannot handle the truth. You have just found out you are supporting evil. Of course you cannot handle that. God will show you that our invasions are wrong one day. You will understand then.

I read the truth in God's word and handle it well. You seem unwilling to even acknowledge God's Word and his activity in this world. Instead, it seems your holy writings are found in a Russian based website.

Indeed, you cannot handle the truth, which is truly sad.

The fact remains that Putin was the one to stage the invasion rather than deal with the Ucranians via diplomacy. My father’s grandfather came outa a country that was 1st invaded by Nazis then invaded by Soviets… he managed to escape to Pennsylvania where he started a business and later bought a 400 acre farm & Im named after him. Germany has escaped their Nazi past but Russia still continues on with their imperialist murdering political regimes… innocent people die on a daily basis as a result.

No, you are mistaken. Putin tried everything including Minsk 2 agreements, which the West had no intention of honouring. We know that now because Merkel, the former prime minister of Germany said they signed the Minsk agreement only to buy time so Nato could train Ukraine up to Natos standard. This war has been planned buy us along time ago. How do you like how US diplomats lied to Russia? The Minsk 2 agreement was to guarantee Ukraines neutrality and guarantee ethnic Russians rights against discrimination. The ethic Russians were shelled daily in eastern Ukraine by the followers of Bandero, Hitlers man in and ours after WW2. Russia has not been Communists since early Klint0ns days. They have moved on. Your stuck in the old days and it wrongfully colours your perception. The truth is Europe was depending on Russia's cheap oil and doing right well for it's self. The neo cons and neo liberals can't have that, we want a weak Russia to plunder like in Clint0ns day when through our puppet almost destroyed them. With all do respect almost all Americans are behind the real times about Russia because of the billionaires owned major news media's, whom I am sure you know that lie and Is full of misinformation.

Salty, I'm not tech savvy. There's a Fox News article from January 12, 2017 concerning Russia's persecution of Baptist Pastor Donald Ossewaarde. This man's brother, Pastor Bob Ossewaarde, was an Assistant Pastor at our church when this was going on.

Can you please post this link as my rebuttal to Conan's claim that Russia has not reverted back to Communist Religious persecution in league with their puppet Russian Orthodox Church.

Here are three links to that situation. The first includes an extract:

Tooley reiterated his point that Putin has been deceptively portrayed as a friend of Christianity and persecuted Christians in the Middle East, saying, "He could superficially look like a champion of Christianity if you don't appreciate his cynical manipulation of religion for his own political purposes and for further aggrandizing his authoritarian regime."

Last week, evangelist Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelist Association held the first ever World Summit in Defense of Persecuted Christians in Washington, D.C. after deciding not to hold the event in Moscow following Russia's crackdown on evangelism.

The Russian Orthodox Church had announced last March that they would be a co-sponsor of the world summit, being an ally in combating global persecution of Christians, but Graham made the decision to move it to the U.S. following the adoption of the Yarovaya law.

That says it best. Russia is not now communist per se. But the persecution of non-Orthodox Christians goes much further back. The current regime is quite totalitarian and the Orthodox Church of Russia backs it entirely.

It was said that the main difference under Soviet Communism was that the Orthodox were persecuted as well. Seems they learned nothing from the experience.

Solzhenitsyn said that under communism they had forgotten God. Unfortunately, his emphasis was on the Orthodox Church. They still haven’t fully acknowledged God and continue to persecute Christians. By explicitly supporting the state in all of its excesses they incriminate themselves further.

They still are very prejudiced to people who are Jewish. I learned that from a few Jewish Russians who lived there and experienced it first hand.[/QUOTE]

Regarding supporting the state vs criticizing it…

Most of us know the anecdote about the Soviet Russian bragging that just as Americans are free to stand in front of the White House and criticize the president, so he is free to stand in front of the Kremlin and criticize the president… of America.

That state of affairs exists in Russia today. A citizen does not dare criticize the Russian government and expect to get away with it. Even mentioning what is really happening in Ukraine can get you arrested for treason. Only the state media version is accepted as legitimate. Period.
