upon hope of life age-during [eternal life], which God, who doth not lie, did promise before times of ages,

    Why?

ages ? I do wonder what ages?

I also wonder when, the age, of the god of this age of 2 Cor 4:4 began?

What about the word, "hope," of Titus 1:2? Is it the same hope of Hebrews 11:1 relative to faith? What about the hope of Romans 8:24? Is the hope of Romans 8:24 the hope of Titus 1:2 we are saved unto, yet not yet seen?

I ask myself a lot and wonder a lot.

Before times of ages there was going need to be hope? Ummmmmm!

? Hope for a being without sin yet made sin and would give his being, err life, soul ?

    Just wondering.

Titus 1:2, ". . . In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; . . ."

1 John 5:9-13, ". . . If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. . . ."

John 17:3, ". . . And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. . . ."

Romans 1:16, ". . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . ."

1 Corinthians 15:1-4, ". . . the gospel . . . that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . "

1 John 5:1, ". . . Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: . . ."

2 John 1:9, ". . . Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. . . ."

I’m not saying that you are actually doing this, despite the wording of the OP, but it is not ourselves we should be asking such questions.

Rather we should be asking God, that is, prayerfully considering the revelation of his word, hopeful for and expectant of illumination through the Holy Spirit.

And in the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 'If any one doth thirst, let him come unto me and drink; he who is believing in me, according as the Writing said, Rivers out of his belly shall flow of living water;' and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

    'But I tell you the truth; it is better for you that I go away, for if I may not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you, and if I go on, I will send Him unto you;
and when He may come -- the Spirit of truth -- He will guide you to all the truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but as many things as He will hear He will speak, and the coming things He will tell you; He will glorify me, because of mine He will take, and will tell to you.

And we -- we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved by the Lord, that God did choose you from the beginning to salvation, in sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth,
